Post Your Beading Shots!!!

This is a couple of close ups of the dew microbeads that formed on the Qashqai while it was parked outside over the weekend. Looks a little bit like bubblwrap.

Can Coat is the first product I've used where I feel settled. Nothing wrong with the previous products I tried, but they weren't quite what I was looking for. One thing about Gyeon I'm finding is there is little fuss with their products. They just work. The only product from Gyeon I did not like was Bathe Essence. Awful soap. Other than that, Ceramic Detailer, Wet Coat, Prep, Interior Detailer and Can Coat all work very well.

I was extremely patient with OS/HS and could never get them to perform. I tried multiple times hoping they would deliver and that it was my prep method that was the problem. They look awesome when applied, but don't last and the water behavior is subpar. Optimum people are claiming HS lasts a year and there is just no way in hell I believe that. More like 3 months.

I'm sure the Opti Coat Pro coatings are among the best but those are untouchable to me. Can Coat is so easy to use, looks fantastic and beads incredibly well. Plus I get to use one of my favorite products (Wet Coat) as a topper now.

Next get Cosmic to play with…. CanCoat level beading…. Seems expensive but will last forever and won’t go bad like CC.

So out of the 'lite' crowd, from all accounts it appears Cancoat (Evo) is the leader of the pack. This Megs coating is really really good as well, I wonder how far down the ladder it comes in against Cancoat? Performance, appearance and gloss, etc, etc.
Some people have said they have seen them for sale dirt cheap at local parts stores, which would give Megs a huge plus over Cancoat on the value aspect.
I am still shaking my head as a Megs guy that Meguiars has still snubbed the Canadian market on this, and other, products.....

CanCoat and CQ lite depending on who you ask. The Megs gets love but haven’t heard about durability.

Adam’s spray graphene coating a step down. More like if CanCoat and Griots 3-1 had a baby. Very versatile product. I use it on my winter Husky Mats and seen a thread where Sizzle used it on a convertible top….

If you guys are wondering about durability against can coat....Scott HD has a test going on starting May 1st.
He is testing many products on 2 separate hoods....some are peoples requests from Autogeek.

Time will tell....personally I hear a bunch of talk about can coat EVO being the best and better Than Meg's...yet nobody has used it on this forum....not that I have seen anyway..
Ill get you the the scoop on mine as Ill have Meg's on my other car here shortly....I'm not going to do anything except maintenance washes for 6 months....no toppers!

S
Some people have said they have seen them for sale dirt cheap at local parts stores,

I bought 7 kits for $30 at AutoZone last fall on closeout.....glad I took the gamble as I really like the way Meg's goes on and especially removes.
IMO...it is easier to use than Griots 3in 1

Even if the durability winds up not being so great with Meg's(highly doubt)...it will make for a great topper.
this stuff is a breeze to use!
