Haggard (hag-erd)
Definition: worn, weakened
Source: Thesaurus.com
The haggard detailer worked 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for years on end to grow his business as his success became an obsession. He totally lost sight of what success meant and placed a dollar amount and a particular "social status" in its place. After all those years, he had a busy and lucrative business to show for it, but no one to share his glory with.
^^ Good story! =)
Without sounding like too much of a cliche... where has the time gone? One month ago today I started this thread, so with that being said here is the 1-month Anniversary Word of the Day. Thank you for all the support and contributions everyone, its what keeps me going!
