Incredibly Cheap Finds

Nice, tried em out yet?

yes i have, in fact i've used this tire & wheel cleaner for years (bought dozens of bottles) without any issues and it's very similiar to the mothers foaming wheel & tire cleaner. the only reason why they are on clearance is because of the new packaging (different color bottle & label). if i could find more, i would clear them out in a heartbeat at that price...

Unfortunately for me, Eco Touch understands the market here in the south isn't ready for their products. Hope it saves someone some gas money.

That's very nice of you, I'd give your a thread a "thumbs up" if we had that option! I wouldn't sell the south short on understanding these products, just gotta show em' how it works, everyone likes easy!

I purchase and use Sam's Club MF towels but they are nowhere near as plush or the quality of a 600 gsm towels or the cobra 530's and others. Still they are well worth the money and I use them for all sorts of uses and save my higher priced towels for times when the Sam's towels don't do the job which is quite rare because they are quite versatile. I've used Sam's towels for wash, polish, drying, wax, and final wipe down. Other times they don't make it through the wiping off polish stage due to instilling scratches in a soft clear coat. They are a nice tool for your detailing arsenal.

Nice. I'll definitely check it out. Quality wheel cleaner is one thing I can never have too much of.

Nice! My fuel thanks you.

This isn't exactly a detailing product, but it is related. And with all the chemicals we use, we definitely should be wearing gloves.

These Heavy Duty gloves are rarely on sale; it's usually the Medium Duty. They have 4 grades: (I may have forgotten the names)
  1. Dish Duty:
    • have not tried these, but according to the picture they protect against fork stabbings.
  2. Medium Duty:
    • on sale often
    • stretch nicely
    • work well for keeping chemicals off
    • but tear when put under a little stress, or against a sharp edge
  3. Heavy Duty (the one on the coupon):
    • awesome gloves!
    • not on sale as often as the medium
    • really freakin' tough, big jump up from the Medium
    • don't really stretch, but personally I can get them on and off easily
    • have a little extra length to cover the wrist
  4. Extra Mega Lead-lined Heavy Duty:
    • really tough, but the jump from Heavy to this grade is not as big of a difference as going from Medium to Heavy
    • no stretching, better make sure they fit. They let me try them on in store, just ask
    • really hard to get on, and I swear it feels like they're cutting off my circulation sometimes. (next size was too big)
    • a bit more wrist coverage than the Heavy Duty

^^Harbor Freights gloves are seriously the best value you can find. Even the Venom "Steel" gloves that claim Heavy Duty are only 6mil thick.

Wiped out the local Target for the most part. 2 bottles of WW left and thats it. There was some in the clearance section by automotive but a TON more in the home cleaning products section. So those Target hunters check the HOME section too.
Scored 2 x Tire shine 4 x WW 1 x Glass 3x Wheel

I've checked out 4 target stores in my area, and couldnt find any. Are the sprays that are in the "Home" section at the endcaps with regular clearance stuff, or mixed in the aisles??? I've checked every endcap in each of the stores with no luck.

Just got back from another Target to top off my supply of Eco Touch product. Bought three spray bottles of their spray wax (fantastic product) for $2.98 each and two bottles of wheel cleaner (haven't tried it yet) for $1.78 each. Should be set for a while.

The wheel cleaner works great, although some have said one severely dirty, baked on brake dust it doesn't cut like Sonux but then again the ECO TOUCH wheel cleaner doesn't have Iron-X in it either. That said, for the "average" AG'er, its going to work fine! I should mention its ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY EIGHT CENTS again too!! I bought 6 of them last week, a gallon+ of wheel cleaner for $8.00 plus the great foaming sprayers, you just can't pass this up!

I checked the website for local Eco-touch sources. The closest store to me is 287 miles away!

if your south of the mason Dixon line your not going to find it at Target. Got my sister in upstate NY buying everything in her area up.........lost count on how much I owe right now.......but hey a bargain is a bargain.

Yep, I'm south all right - Texas. There is some vitamin store in Austin that, according to the Eco website, carries their products. As I said, that is nearly 300 miles from me. Upstate NY you say? I will be flying to Rochester in a couple weeks so I'll look around up there. If I find enough of the Eco products on a good sale to make it worthwhile, I'll just ship a box of them back to me. I really like the spray wax and tire shine.

So youre prolly the reason ive been unsuccessful in locating any in the Syracuse area.......

Has anyone used Eco WW with the GD method or is that a bad idea?

A waterless wash is different from rinseless.

The Target here was all but cleaned out. I got last bottle of tire cleaner and spray wax.
