Since you mentioned in your original post you had clayed, you’re good to go to apply wax. Apply a thin coat with an appropriate applicator to an area about 1/4th the size of the hood. It should haze up, not turn white. White would mean you’ve over-applied. The cleaners in it will remove any...
I always suggest you follow the directions and apply to a small area at a time. Maybe even a body panel. The entire vehicle at once with a carnauba product? That wasn't the product's fault. Sorry.
Any idea how old it is? Can you shoot a pic of the front on the can so I can get a general idea, or (even better) the back of the can, which would show me the lot number?
Thanks for the kind words. We've been sponsoring the live races for a few years now, and F1 fans are enthusiastic about being able to watch commercial free.
One of our big rigs is dedicated to hauling our race cars around, and for those who attend the Long Beach Grand Prix, you know we "own"...
Paste and liquid perform the same, so it’s preference.

Thanks for the kind words. 05550 has been around since the late 80s.
When we introduced it, we took some cans from the first batch and put them in presentation boxes for a few of our buyers. I still have one.
Maybe I should donate it to the Mike Phillips vintage museum. BTW, the wax...
Better glass cleaners are alcohol based. IPA doesn't freeze until ~ -128ºF.
Your best bet is to keep all detailing products from freezing. Paste wax gets destroyed. Many liquids will not go back in to suspension or emulsion once frozen. To be safe, take them all in.
We offer the Wax Attack 2 to simplify paint correction for folks who aren’t used to compounding and polishing and don’t want to invest a week’s pay in a machine. The pads and products were developed to work together, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally mixing up the pads and products...
I think of interior detailers like paint instant detailers - no real protection but great for removing dust, fingerprints and sweat residue in the summer. I keep a small bottle inside a small wash mitt in my glovebox. Those little mitts from the dollar store are good for something. On average...
