Anyone have a go at coating polished countertop surfaces? I have an outdoor kitchen that I seal every 6 months and I thought about the ceramic coating and its longevity.

Has anybody tried coating gelcoat? Looking to pickup a new watercraft and would like to protect every surface. I know AG sells Marine31 and Megs marine products but am curious if anyone has tried any type of coating in the marine environment.
Saw the "Gorilla ladders" brand in my local ad. I was going to pick it up on BF since it looks like a great deal...except I pass the recommended weight limit :( I'm just a bit over 6'3" and 270lbs.

FG400 seems like the way to go. I've seen a few people using megs mf compound and finishing up with menzerna polishes. Also see a lot of "M405" D300+105 which seems to work great. Subscribed.
Great turnaround. How do you like the Bissel? Do you think a better extractor would have gotten the last remaining stains? Or are you looking into a change of products for similar trashed interiors?
Sorry for the thread hijack. I tried the same process on these headlights today, you can see the left side was pretty bad. They made a big improvement but if you look closely the drivers side is much clearer(had less oxidation originally). I didn't even have to wet-sand it just compound and...
How do you know you've taken down of the oxidation when sanding? I tried wetsanding for the first time on some practice lights, I started out with 500 ended with 2000 then compounded and polished. After polishing it still wasn't clear so I went down to 360(lowest grit I had) and it came out...
