I'm at about 4-5 hours depending on wheel conditions. First 2-3 hours is prep, washing, cleaning wheels, wells, jambs iron and decon. Polishing is quick going through 4-5 pads, I don't clean them on the fly, just swap out.

I've used both as well as car pro and IGL window coatings. I have IGL right now but keep Rain-X around for people that i do quick details for. I might be lazy or who knows but I spray the windshield with rain-x before washing, then wash the car, no after buffing.
Waste, the reason for the second coat is to ensure even coverage. CP is one of the big companies that boosts needing multiple coats. I think this goes along with the guys who offer 30 step details, it's just flashy show.
