Menz and it's not even close. But for my personal cars I use scholls concepts s3 gold and sonax perfect finish. 105 and 205 are ok, but highly overrated.
Where's all of the fools that claimed that costco/sam's club towels were good enough for paint and that buying 530/600/700gsm towels were a waste of money?
costco towels suck too. I only use them for wheels or rags. Raise your standards and get some better stuff. It's worth it. Buy the 10 pack of 530 gsm from mft for 30 bucks.
I love the rupes yellow and white pads. The greens and blues are ok. Otherwise I use BnS pads. Ordered some scholls concepts pads. Super expensive, but was too curious about them and gave in and bought several.
I don't know how any professional could use those sam's or costco mf towels on paint. I have the costco ones, but only for use as crap duty on engine, exhaust pipes, and drying the fenderwell.
If you care about treating your paint right you need the really good stuff and match different...
This is probably a great product for guys going to track days. Instead of using blue painters tape all over the front of their cars, they can use this then remove it after the track weekend is over.
Try buff and shine pads. They are much better made and work just as good or better than lake country pads. I've never had any problems with buff and shine pads, but have had lots of problems with lake country pads.
