Depends, what is your ultimate goal with mobile detailing? I looked into the mobile detailing thing a couple years ago, and I don't have the market for it. But that doesn't mean I couldn't give you some good tips... Feed back please

What are you trying to accomplish? If you are just wanting to strip old wax, you could always get a soap (like chem guys citrus wash) that will strip a good bit of wax, then follow with clay-bar and a polish or compound after that. Then just use something to prep after that, like a...

Based on Richies experience and past threads, they aren't necessary, but I don't think they would hurt either.

Never got the mac thing either. Had to use macs in high school for all kinds of things and hated the format and the style. It felt more of a toy than a tool. Linux>Win>Mac all the way!:props:
