Can't comment for the good doctor, but if you've ever clayed a car that hasn't been waxed (ever, or for 6+ months) vs. one that is regularly waxed; the clay will speak for itself.

I wouldn't use Solution Finish on interior stuff myself, although it does do a good job on exterior trim. If it's all vinyl, there is an aerosol spray paint that I've used on interior trim called color bond that works amazingly to restore interior vinyl. I'd do some looking into it if you are...
