Plain (non-ultra) dawn is about a buck a bottle at wally world. At least it was when I bought a bunch to use in my ultrasonic cleaner.

    Shipping Held Until Promo Day?

I've had orders sit in the warehouse for between 1-2 weeks. Wasn't too pleased. Also had blackfire bogos removed from my legitimate order after it sat waiting for Megs D156 to show up. I guess it was too difficult to keep the blackfire in my package until it shipped. Again, wasn't too pleased...

    Brake dust shields?

Not an issue maybe for grandma, but even that I doubt. Of course they say heat trapping is not an issue, they want to sell those plastic pieces of poo, non? Those heat traps are a good way to warp rotors.

Ever See a 6' 280 lb Man Cry?

Matt, I mostly agree :xyxthumbs: but IMO, DON'T try to repair any part of the dent yourself. Pay a good PDR guy to do what they are good at. The best of them will put just about any other metal worker to shame. Don't take it to a body shop first. Body shop as last resort. Also I'm not convinced...

Ever See a 6' 280 lb Man Cry?

How bad is the actual *paint* damage? A really good PDR (paintless dent removal) guy can quite possibly get the metal itself back to perfect. They don't just correct the contour of the metal, they correct the reflection. If the paint itself just has light scratches in the clear, well "that'll...

This message is aimed not only at you, but anybody else who uses a PC style DA polisher. Steel wool for metal polishing...when to use and when not to use?

I don't know why there would be any disrespect either, there's nothing disrespectful about asking an honest question. :dunno: Rzatch, thanks for your quick guide to polishing up stainless. It seems like after the exhaust tips are polished up, the bronze wool from Ace Hardware mentioned by soto...

    Tape pulled clear coat off

Maybe waxing a spot before taping will keep the clear on the car. Tape will pull up wax instead of paint. Also, some time ago, I read a lot of negative reviews of meguiar's car tape. Maybe just stick to 3M painter's blue, tried and true. Also, pull the tape off gently, with the loose end of the...

    Utility Pole on Fender

Looks great! You know, I've been liking ultimate wax more and more lately. I think my bottle has been jealous of the other, "fancier" products I've bought recently and so it's decided to put on its best show! j/k, but I've been seeing great results here, like you just got...and I've been very...
