    Longest lasting sealant or wax?

I think this is the type of question that if you ask 10 people, you might get 10 different answers. I'll give you my personal experience... 845 is great. Easy to use and lasts long and FOR ME was WAY beter than 476. I found 476 hard to use and didn't last AT ALL. I ended up giving away my...

    Good home security/surveillance systems?

I have an Alarm Force wireless alarm. Basically, mine consists of a bunch of motion detector and door contacts (as I'm not convinced window contacts do any good). I also have smoke and CO monitoring. My install cost about $500 because I added somethings like remote controls to arm/disarm...

Black Fire Wet Diamond or Wolfgang DGPS 3.0

To me, they are like 1 and 1A. Two best sealants out there, but I do think I give a slight edge to BFWD in ease of use, slickness and of course, price. Can't go wrong with either. I have both in my arsenal and use them interchangeably.

    Wolfgang Fuzion vs P21S Carnuba

I use a combination of 6.5" pads and 4" pads and I can get a fair bit done. As others have said, keeping your pads clean and not bogged down with product is essential. Keep in mind, pads don't last forever and if you are doing quite a bit of detailing (even for personal use), you'll go...

    Best Winter Sealant Durability?

That's the interesting thing about detailing products. Many swear by Collinite 476s and I found it to be an abysmal product, while 845 worked very well for me and I like it very much.

    Best Winter Sealant Durability?

Certainly not a Zaino flag waiver, but last year I used Z2Pro for the Canadian winter and it lasted for the entire winter on the flat surfaces. It did not survive on the lower portions of the car which were exposed to the sand/salt. While I MUCH prefer a product like WG DGPS (because of ease...

If you were limited to one company...

I actually think it is an easy answer. Meguiars (to me) is the most complete company so that would be my answer. Maybe not everything they make is your fave, but they pretty much make everything. For example... you can use M105/M205 to knock out most defects, while using a G110 and you've...

    Best car wash soap?

For my foam gun -> DP Extreme Foam Formula My winter wash -> ONR Regular Wash -> Megs Ultimate Wash and Wax or Z7 Show Car Wash Best Value Wash -> Megs Shampoo Plus

    Meguiars No 7

I haven't noticed a difference but I'm going to check. I have a bottle I bought about 3 months ago. My only beef with #7 is that I believe (maybe right or wrongly) that when I use it, whatever my choice of LSP is, lasts less long.

    Quick Review: Fuzion

I used Fuzion as a topper over Blackfire Wet Diamond last weekend and I really liked the look (I think more than the first time I tried it). Car was left looking quite wet. Yours came out amazing. Great result.

Most over looked thing in washing a car?

That's really smart. I've never thought of it that way and usually use a separate bucket for my wheels/tires, but I might start doing it like this now, to ensure I don't get sloppy!

Most over looked thing in washing a car?

I've NEVER seen a lay person clean the barrel of the wheels or the gas cap area. Wheel wells are also a good bet but I think plenty of people clean the jams.
