Never used it before but ive seen some good reviews. It would be great product to use to freshen up some paint that didnt need any real correction. You could always just hit it with some SSR1 as well, SSR1 is pretty mild. Whichever you choose, Im sure you will be happy.

With some products some people like to spray the pad with a pad conditioner, or QD, or even water before they start to polish. SSR polishes seem to work better without any of this, just a little extra polish the first time applying to the pad. And yes you are right about the pads, different...

since everything went fine on the rest of the decals spots left on the truck, Im guessing that maybe there was something on the paint in that area when those decals were applied, and it just etched the clear over time in that one spot... i dunno just a guess
