    Question about poorboy polish

Never used it before but ive seen some good reviews. It would be great product to use to freshen up some paint that didnt need any real correction. You could always just hit it with some SSR1 as well, SSR1 is pretty mild. Whichever you choose, Im sure you will be happy.

    Question about poorboy polish

With some products some people like to spray the pad with a pad conditioner, or QD, or even water before they start to polish. SSR polishes seem to work better without any of this, just a little extra polish the first time applying to the pad. And yes you are right about the pads, different...

    Question about poorboy polish

Hi welcome to the forum. The poorboy's kit you are considering is the same kit that I bought when I first started out. I was and still am very satisfied with all of the products. SSR1 is the finishing polish, it will remove any hazing that SSR2.5 may leave behind. They are both very user...

03 Hellion Turbo Cobra - ZAXJAX Detail

Looking good, I love FR500 wheels, I whish they fit my car. You see the grime/splatter on the fender lip here, I have a hard time removing this stuff on my car sometimes. Take alot of scrubbing with a bug sponge. Clay doesnt even work most of the time. Did you get around to getting that...

    DP is my favorite brand

I really like my DP max wax, 4in1, and total interior cleaner. I have a sample of xtreme foam I need to try when the weather is nicer. I tried the gel wheel cleaner, wasnt so impressed. It cleaned ok, but wasnt very gel like at all. For the money, I can just mix APC a little stronger and be...

    Help!

I havent used it myself, but I think the general consensus is that it is not a very foamy soap, but it has plenty of lubricity to it. Maybe not the best choice for the foam gun, try mixing with another soap to get the best of both worlds. pinnacle is trhland's favorite soap, he can tell you...

    Clear Cote Failer!!!!!! Woops!!???

since everything went fine on the rest of the decals spots left on the truck, Im guessing that maybe there was something on the paint in that area when those decals were applied, and it just etched the clear over time in that one spot... i dunno just a guess

    Clear Cote Failer!!!!!! Woops!!???

Really? Well, I am yet to use either of my green CCS pads, so I cant tell you about cutting ability. All I know is what LC calls them. My green heavy polish pad doesnt feel nearly as dense or stiff as the orange pad. Maybe its because Im talking 6.5 ccs, and your talking 7.5, which might have...

    Detailed my Turbo 04 Cobra

:goodpost: A mustang guy I am not ;) Thats pretty cool to hear they have MAFs that handle that much, never knew they existed. Any FI GM ive seen that is making above 600 has always ditched the MAF. From my understanding they are not easy to tune on big setups. Not impossible but not easy...

    Clear Cote Failer!!!!!! Woops!!???

Nope, they are manufacturer specific. Lake Country, Edge, Meguire's all different... and it gets even more confusing, like Lake Country makes two different 6.5" Green CCS. One is before white, one is after white. Go figure, but I would always make sure I had the right pad before I went to use...
