What would you do??? Business issue/Maintenance Problem.

Next time you are servicing your client that is close by to him I would suggest doing the obvious which is confront him about it and see what the deal is...... This may sound a bit goofy but try and find the car, walk past it and tie your shoe and see if the seat is normal. Although you may...

What would you do??? Business issue/Maintenance Problem.

I am still laughing about it as I go to eat the dinner my old lady has prepared for me. Steak & salad, mmmmmmmm. Yes, I hope our friend here gets this all sorted out as he seems to be a decent detailer. I hate customers that try and take advantage of good detailers.

    Are there any detailers that.......

Something must be wrong with that guy's brain as I know you would have given him wayyyyy more for the additonal $50. I like how you told him to "grab it" LOL. I think its safe to say that your $125 offer is really worth maybe $200 or so. But I know how the economy is and you can sure bet I...

    Are there any detailers that.......

Do not use famous compounds such as M105, Optimum, etc. I am pretty much asking if there is anyone out there not really doing that many corrections but get a lot of interior/engine jobs plus basic exterior jobs that warrant the use of an AIO. A lot of places in the country do not have a...

What would you do??? Business issue/Maintenance Problem.

As for any repair, You earned the damn money that you were given. I would have told him to bring me a bill stating the likely cause of failure and if it were determined water or cleaner got in or on something that I would have just contacted my insurance company.

Fresh bottle of Meguiars Showroom Shine split open!!!

Perhaps he was just seeing if someone else had a similar issue with these bottles??? I know I have once every couple years. He did ask in a respectful manner . Spare me a response as it would be a waste.

I had this happen on a Volvo recently, I had the car turned on and could not get the seats to budge and the switch would not take it back. Turned out all I had to do was recline it back and then the power seats would work. I actually do not think you messed up the seats at all.

Updated 2/21: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim

Re: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim I actually prefer the Meguiars offerings. Their ASD would have handled that in one swipe as it is oily and rich enough.

Nothing to booked - love it!

I agree. $250 is way too much for someone with 5 months experience. Its hard to even get some folks to spend that kind of money.

How important is a foam gun to washing a car properly?

Lets not be coy, A good portion of those ONR videos show the person washing a panel, then drying it and accidently drying and wiping over a "dirty" panel as well. I like ONR to for a clay lube, interior wipedown etc. But like the rest are saying, its no match for a pressure & foam gun...

Door Trim - Everything sticks to it

The newer trucks are like that. 07-present. Notice how grey they look on a black truck after a while. They need to be clayed more often than the actual paint. I know because I have an 07 Ext Cab.

How important is a foam gun to washing a car properly?

To loosen up and release heavy dirt and grime on a vehicle? I know your a fan of ONR but it has a better chance of marring a black vehicle than a pressure & foam gun wash with the two bucket method w/grit guards. Dont you think???

techniques for deep cleaning inner wheel barrels

I usually do a good blast with a pressure washer, followed by a soapy water and Meguiars WB 4:1 agitation. Then a good heavy rinse. If your going for close to 100%, then Tarminator helps on any tar that needs to be eliminated after the wash.

Pricing Question- Actually a Couple Questions

Also keep in mind that a $150 - $200 one step on daily drivers are nice to perform as well. Wash Clay One step interior tires/wells etc.... 5-8 hrs. It would probably take all day to knock two of them out but you would at the very least be making $300 in one work day.
