WG two step wash and wax.

See Bunky's post below: I concur with his conclusion. Except I will add from my experience the Mother's clay is much more pliable and easier to work with. Meguiar's gets very tacky and hard to knead after a while. As stated by Bunky, they are both about the same in terms of removal of...

Which types of White or Orange pads? If you haven't tried the HT pads..I strongly suggest you try them. They don't last as long as regular pads, but they finish down extremely well :props:

WG two step wash and wax.

It's really completely dependent upon the contamination level the cars have. I've used 3 bars on one car, and I've used a half of a bar on one car. The more contamination, the more clay you'll use. If the paint feels like very rough sand paper it may take 2 bars to do the whole car. If it...

techniques for deep cleaning inner wheel barrels

Sonax is one of the best options for brake dust. It can also double as a paint decontamination chemical that gets rid of metal particles in your paint -- I know firsthand that it works on iron particles. If time is your number one concern, Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner is the only one for you :)

WG two step wash and wax.

Personally, I use Clay Magic blue clay or Clay Magic red clay for badly contaminated cars -- neither of which Autogeek sells -- with Optimum No Rinse as lube (AG does sell). However, in close second is Mother's California Gold Clay bar. That is what I would get if I were you. Mothers...

WG two step wash and wax.

Sounds like a plan but you definitely want to clay between washing and waxing that way you don't accidentally instill some swirls into the paint that you have to get rid of next month :)

    Daily Driver Polish

I'd use M205 and a Tangerine LC Hydro-tech pad. If it were a show car you could follow up with P085RD on a gray finishing pad and have it shining like no other :dblthumb2:

WG two step wash and wax.

Agreed. And I'd also suggest that you clay the surface after washing the car if you're going to be waxing it. The wax will not do anything for the swirls unless it contains fillers and that will only be a temporary solution. Good luck :xyxthumbs:

techniques for deep cleaning inner wheel barrels

Wheel brushes for spoke wheels, deep set spoke wheel brush, large wheel brush, wheel brushes Works much better for "stubborn" grime than the Daytona Brush. I have both and love them. I usually don't have to use them on my car as I clean the barrels weekly with a Daytona but for other neglected...

Wash Media... What are your favorites ? and which ones to avoid ?

Nope, the ones Autogeek sell are long-haired which are a pain to take care of. This is the one I'm talking about: Autogeek doesn't sell it...but they should :) Much easier to take care of and so soft on the paint. I have tried many real and synthetic sponges, microfibers, wools; none of them...

Wash Media... What are your favorites ? and which ones to avoid ?

Supernatural Short-Haired Wookie is my all-time favorite. It's a bit hard to find though.

    Beading sizes UPGP/Nattys Blue/Fuzion

UPGP is my favorite wax used to date...simple appliance and really keeps the dust away. It's a weird feeling not having to buff a LSP off, though.

    Aquartz/Cquartz brand questions

Depending on how severe the embedded particles are, 1L will cover approximately 2 medium sized car's paint and wheels. I've covered my Cobalt (Considered a sub-compact I believe) twice with the 1L bottle (paint and wheels) and I still have about 1/8th left.

    What rpm to shift at...

My friend has a 6-speed manual jeep (I assume yours is 6-speed as well?) and he usually shifts around 2.5K-3.5K. Eventually after driving it you will just learn to feel when to shift. I rarely ever look at the tachometer unless I'm racing of course :) In time I'm sure you'll get used to it and...

No I was actually unaware that there were people as immature as you on this board. And it was from a dig, several times :) sorry

    Need help with a sealant

I just used this for the first time the other day and I'm extremely impressed. After polishing a car out, there is nothing better than not having to buff off the LSP! :xyxthumbs: Stuff is SLICK too, one of the slickest I've used. Repels dirt/dust like a charm and can be applied to a whole car...

    What Now?? After detail.

:iagree: Proper washing can prevent hard labor on your daily driver. My brother's girlfriend had tar all over the bottom of her Silver Hyundai that I noticed the other day and I was going to offer to get it off for her but instead she took the task on herself with a Brillo pad everywhere :eek...

    First polish for the Z!

And that's all that matters :props: I'm sure that if there were only one car to choose from in this world, NONE of us would be happy. We all have different opinions on what we want/need and we all have limitations on what we CAN get whether it be financial (my case; saving for a house ATM)...
