    Bathroom detailing

OPC is magic in bathrooms. Floors, countertops, toilets...out performs and dedicated cleaner you would pick up at the store and is much more versatile and safe. Dilute as needed and have at it :)

Hey man! I'd be very interested in splitting the cost of a room in Vegas with you for SEMA. I entered to win the pair of tickets, but came up empty handed :(. If you are interested just shoot me a line. I'm pretty easy to get along with :)

    Any Duragloss APC users?

I have some of the Ultimate Orange (#401 I believe?), and it works pretty well around the house. I purchased my sprayer of the Duragloss around the same time I picked up my OPC, so to be honest, the Power Clean has been getting all of the use on my vehicle. But like I said, I used the Duragloss...

what is your favorite trim product ?

I'll give this a shot! I'm still able to get the desired results with both the Ultima applicator and foam brushes, it's just a matter of how much clean up I have to do afterwards that becomes the issue. If I can apply and walk away with these little guys, I'll be a very happy detailer:buffing:

what is your favorite trim product ?

I forgot to include this in my original post, but I had a difficult time with foam brushes too. The size is right for application, but it goes on much much thicker - to the point were it actually runs off of the trim and onto the paint. Originally I poured some UTTG into a coffee cup, dabbed...

what is your favorite trim product ?

Ultima is a great product, but I still haven't found the sweet spot for application. The applicator that comes with the product works well for larger areas, but it's really hard to get it to apply to tight areas without having to tape up. Any tips? (sorry to hijack Im the MAN)

Proper Glass Cleaning Tips & Tricks

I picked up some of the Cobra glass towels on BOGO and use it with Invisible Glass. Makes exterior and interior windows alike a very very easy task.

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

I was thinking the same thing. Next time I do a wash I'll be using the same technique all the way around the seal, including the top portion.

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

Window all the way down. It was much easier to get the putty knife in this way, and I didn't have to worry about a wet/dirty seal rubbing up against the glass during the cleaning process.

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

Welp, the deed is done. Didn't get a chance to take pictures, but overall the following combo was a great success. I highly recommend doing this process on the same interval that you clay bar your car. - Medium sized plastic putty knife - 10 Small Microfibers (5x5 I believe) - OPC 1:10 Dilution...

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

Here's an update on how things have gone thus far: - OPC 1:10 Diluted - Basic Microfiber: One coated in OPC, the other with water to wipe up any excess. Lots and lots of caked on dirt inside of that rubber seal. I wasn't able to get the plastic putty knife until later tonight, so I went over...

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

Awesome, I'll definitely give that a shot. Do you use the putty knife to push the towel down into the crevice were the window goes? I don't have the Griot's product on hand, but I think diluted OPC should be a solid substitute - it's what I generally use to clean up my trim before applying UTTG.

    Dirty Felt Streaking Glass

Hello all! It's common to see glass get streaked from rolling side windows up or down after a wash, but my side windows seem to get streaked even when water isn't present. Even worse, some of the streaking that occurs actually leads to micro-marring in vertical lines along the glass. I'm...

Does opti-coat protect against swirls & chips?

Awesome! I don't quite have the level of correction I want yet, but I think OptiCoat will be a great investment once I get there. Thanks Cee Dog.

    work lighting?

I'm in the same boat - I rent and my garage lighting is horrible. It's nice for covered parking and applying product in a covered area during the day, but once the sun goes down my day is pretty much done. I'll see if I can get a good setup from Home Depot, it sounds like it should atleast help...

Does opti-coat protect against swirls & chips?

Very interesting. I know OptiCoat is recommended for paint in flawless condition (typically new cars that have had mild correction done to remove dealer instilled swirls and holograms), but what about on older finishes that have been corrected as good as they can get? I've put some serious...
