Just realized this myself this past weekend. I didn't get much foam for some reason in my first wash and I remembered it foaming more when I bought it last fall. Did exactly what you said, took it off, refilled with hot water and shook it up. Bingo. Unfortunately, nothing really gets me...

I used this on my floormats, carpet, and cloth interior before winter. It seemed to get good reviews when I looked so I'm looking forward to spring detailing here shortly and see how everything held up.

I'm interested in these. It doesn't look like AG sells them so I'm assuming straight from Adams is the best place? Does the fact that they are synthetic make them more prone to scratch the paint at all? Looks like they hold a ton of shampoo. Do they shed at all after a few uses? *Not trying...

Do explain what I am "doing wrong." I'm using a caranuba to top a sealant for pure aesthetic reasons. I believe it is still there because I think I can visibly tell a difference compared to the sealant alone. So I guess I'm not sure what are getting at.

The easy answer is while I like to top every couple weeks, I sometimes get busy and don't. I don't think the staying power of SSII is that great and would rather never chance that there is not still a layer of something protecting, thus the sealant. IMO, I can tell when the SSII is gone as it...

If you want the warm deep look with more durability than 845, do two layers of 915.

For whatever reason, the DP extreme foam doesn't do much for me. I get much better foam by using the megs gold class. I'm going to keep experimenting though.

I'm trying out a combo of menzerna powerlock topped with collinite 915 right now..I will say this, for having to put away the nice "summer waxes", this combo looked amazing still.

OK, I just bought this Greenworks unit at Lowes. But when you say "their foam gun", what exactly are your referring to? The spray handle that came with it? A nozzle attachment? Are you just dumping the car soap in one of the two soap chambers it has? Any guidance?

Not a pro here, so I have a question on this. For normal washes, is it safe to use the pressure washer? Its not going to induce swirls/scratches? I have a cheaper one, electric Husky from Home Depot so its not putting out mega pressure like some of the gas one.

The LC blue sponge is what I use with the DP RW&G. It works great. I now use it with my regular washes as well, that's how much I like it. :xyxthumbs:

I'll give it a whirl, at worst I have another high quality QD. I'm not expecting miracles with the anti-static, but even a little would be appreciated. It is ridiculous how much dust accumulates on my black cars overnight. :(

Thanks for the reply, I think I was looking for the 425 to begin with as I'm interested in adding a QD that has anti-static properties and that one got good reviews on here. Have you found that to be the case as well?
