This is one of the first "bug sponges" Ive ever used and since then I've always bought them in bulk. A cool trick to make it last longer is to cut it in half long ways so you get two sponges out of it:)

I don't think the glass restorer is meant to be used on tint but for the exterior glass yes you can use a foam pad. I'm not sure about wool though. You should invest in some glass specific cutting pads for best results.

Using a dedicated pad conditioner can help prevent "dry buffing" and increase the amount of working time for some products. If you're the type of person who takes every precaution possible to ensure the job is done correctly without causing any marring whatsoever then use a pad conditioner.

If you did the paint correction and it looked fine then you got holograms after you washed it a couple times it sounds like you're causing the holograms. You may want to rethink your wash method. Are you using the dual bucket method with grit guards?
