    Ok I work on my 2000 Audi, I used orange pad wit m105 at speed 3 and m205 with White pad speed 3 on my makita and I still have swirls, am I doing something wrong?

    Looking For DA

    I looking at the PC with the edge foam pads. Have anyone use edge pads with no backing plate? And if I get the adaptor for my rotary, can I use the same edge pad I use with the DA with my rotary buffer? please tell me if I will create a disaster, I'm a newbie.

    Making this decison is hard because if I get the flex then the makita is useless, since I will rarely need it. I'm leaning more to the PC, because it's good for production finish. Does anyone have a makita and a PC? please share your expericne since I'm a newbie and low income.

    Im near NYC area. The cold weather is in. any tips on detailing at this weather people? of course the detail will be done indoor, but I only have a portable heater and 1200w halogen light to heat up the place. Im not so worry me frezzing but the products applied to the car's surface.

    I practice with my detail guy today, his dewalt set to 1500 rpm to clear the sand marks, I had to set my to speed 6 to clear the sand marks. Is there something wrong with my buffer? We used the same pads

    New to Detailing

    The White foam pad I was cleaning it with the Duo-spur pad cleaning tool. I plalce the plate side of the tool on the pad and it did that. I guess I learn my lesson. I did use my finger tips on wet sanding, AG forgot to sent the sand pad, but it's on it's way.

    so tomorrow I should go 1200 1500 2000 2500 3000? the wool pad, is it the yellow one or the white one? cause I used the yellow one, the yellow one feels like cotten candy and the white one feels like a mob.
