    Review & How-To: Hyde's Serum Rust Stopper

Glad to see you're carrying this. I actually have a bottle I'll be testing at some point since rusty rotor dust on an otherwise perfectly clean wheel is a problem that plagues my car no matter how fast I am with the metro dryer at blowing off the rotors. This is the crap I get left with all...

    Question about Mike's Book

I'd hold off since new generation iPads are due to be announced sometime this month (so all the rumors say) so if you can hold off you won't kick yourself later for buying the old one right before the new one comes out at the same price.

Review: Hybrid V7 by Chemical Guys

Strange I never had it streak on bare paint. I used it as the LSP on my brothers truck that was coming off lease and needed some horrible swirls and RIDS removed so the dealer didn't charge him for the horrible paint condition. I used V7 just out of pure laziness since durability was not an...

    Crazy paint!!

Detailing that would be kinda fun. Cold water from the wash would make it black then as soon as a polisher hits it the heat would turn it orange. However, owning it would be a nightmare since everyone would want to constantly touch it and pour things on it to see it change.

Progress pictures of my CAR WRAP!!!

This should look awesome with those color combos! At that price are they also doing in the door jams at all? I've seen prices for wraps all across the board from just shy of $1k to $4k and it really seems shop and state dependent as to what you pay and what you get for what amount. I had...

    autogeek then and now

Interesting, I looked back to find the first thing I ever bought from PBMG (can't remember which of their sites I used) it was around 2002 or so when I bought this Pinnacle kit... Pinnacle Complete Detailing Wax & Cleaning Kit I still have the green towels (seen better days of course), a bit...

Review: Hybrid V7 by Chemical Guys

I hate the standard clear CG sprayers their products come with, I replace them all with better sprayers like the grey ones CG sells. FAR better sprayer with a nice fine even mist. I have well over a dozen of those clear sprayers just taking up room in a big bunch in the bottom of my detailing...

    Sonax Polymer Net Shield

When I deployed the net shield (haha) on my truck it was grabby too but the more I worked with it and the pad got wetter from section to section it grabbed less. I used the same applicator you used SlowWRX which worked great thanks to the stiffer foam handle. I think it's just the nature of the...

Review: Hybrid V7 by Chemical Guys

Excellent review as usual. V7 is one of my favorite detail sprays, I really can't bring myself to consider it a full on sealant though just a super detail spray or light sealant I guess but that doesn't mean I like it any less. I actually have a layer of black light and V7 on my black wheels...

    Sonax Polymer Net Shield

Now top it with Sonax Brilliant Shine detailer haha. EXO, Net Shield and Brilliant Shine are quite amazing how they react to water. I was considering trying EXO but I'm going to stick with Net Shield and just top it with Brilliant Shine instead of stripping my truck down for really no major...

Looking for a new spray wax/QD

I'm currently testing several quick detail sprays, started with 13 and am down to 9 as I weed out the junk and Finale is the next to be booted. It has two things going for it, the sprayer and the smell and that's it. It's a bit grabby feeling when wiping it (towel doesn't glide over like...

    Why...

There's a fine line between when to waterless or rinseless then another fine line between rinseless or busting out the hose and buckets. If the dirt on the car clearly without just the right angles close ups and good lighting shows up on video odds are it should be rinseless or hose and bucket...

    Beading and sheeting of EXOv2

Nice. It seems to react to water just like the Sonax Polymer Net Shield I currently have on my truck. Basically, it hates water and sheets it off amazingly well. I took a video of Net Shield on my truck during its last wash and after watching yours and mine again they react to water quite...
