Best thing you learned from AG

I knew absolutely nothing about detailing and no rinse washing until I bought a black MDX last year and got a nasty big scratch on the side. Then I began googling, looking for a solution to remove it and found this website... The scratch is still there but you can see it only when you're really...

I understand that. My question was if I could wash the car with ONR after CQuartz has been applied.

CQuartz & Reload Questions For Avi...

Hi! I am getting ready to apply CQuartz on my black Acura MDX that I wash only with ONR (I live in an apartment building and can't really do any other washing method). So, are you saying that washing with ONR would interfere with CQuartz? Thanks

How much are you guys charging for Cquartz/Opti-coat or any other super sealants?

Why don't you tell that to Nike or Puma who charge $100+ for shoes that probably cost like $20 to make? The price is set by the market, not by the cost of supplies and labor.

    Recommendations?

I don't think anyone would be able to give you a definite answer without a paint thickness gauge.

    Recommendations?

I've used M105 on a brand new Acura MDX (Acura also has a softer clear coat, from what I read) both by hand and with a DA without any problems.

It's glossy but tinted, so it looks matte in the stock image I linked to.

Mike, would PlastX work on an acrylic moonroof visor? http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-41145329455836_2138_28570430 Thanks

    Opti Mitt - First impressions

I totally agree. I don't have big hands but it sure felt like the mitt was going to fall apart after using it just once. Also, it seems to lose too much product when working on vertical panels. After trying a few mitts and sponges, my current choice is this Lake Country Foam Car Wash Sponge, big...

So santa brought me a PC 7424xp

The M105/M205 combo would have been even cheaper and just as good if not better. I just don't like all the dust that M105 leaves.

Washing your vehicle during the winter months.

You might want to try something like the Nomad Portable Washer. I got one on eBay for $45 and it can easily remove all the big stuff before I do ONR.

    my website updated

When you mouse over "Schedule Appointment", the brownish arrow isn't under both words. Also, the spacing between "Schedule Appointment" and "Tips" is smaller than between your other navigation items. Make your navigation a bit wider or use a smaller font size, so both words would fit on the same...

removing swirls and light scratches from the sunroof visor

Hey guys, I have a sunroof visor installed on my 2010 Acura MDX. It's a dealer installed accessory and they put quite a few scratches on it while installing. What would be the best way to remove these? The visor is made from acrylic. THanks
