    Figures. (pad buyers remorse)

I love my hydro-tech's! Who said they were a pain to clean? I really do feel they are better than the regular LC pads (I've got CCS and flat as well), especially the cyan one. Cuts great, finishes superb. To clean my pads, just spray with APC and massage. Wash in a bucket of weak APC, then...

Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

No, you guys are treating it like he's an idiot, we are on a detailing forum, hence we would not use steel wool to wash our cars. This means that the op said his paint is in very good condition, again, we are on a detailing forum, so I believe him. So, would you recommend a compound to...

Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

Read his post. He wants to "take it to the next level". Therefore finishing polish on a pad with no cut will give the best gloss possible.

    Paint correction with gold leaf

The gold leaf will surely have a clear coat over it, so you would just polish as normal. If it isn't coated, then I'd leave it.

Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

He said paint in very good condition. ;) We are on a detailing forum and you can bet that we don't wash our cars with steel wool.... and we say what we mean.... Besides, least agressive combo first. :xyxthumbs:

Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

Either way they are finishing polishes. You never tried a finishing polish with a pad with no cut? You are missing out... Big time!

    What's your favorite paste wax

Autogeek needs some new lines bad! Victoria wax concours, Lusso oro, they are all better than what AG got. Out of what AG have, p21s concours would be the pick. Souveran based on looks is one of the best, but it costs 2x what it should, and lasts 1/10 what it should too.

Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

Yeah, try the red first. Use the red pad to apply the powerlock too! I love that sealant!

    Wolfgang Duo 3.0 OR Meguirar's 105/205 Twins

Yep! All you need is PO203S, PO106FA, and maybe PO85RD. All are very, very easy to work with on the DA, you just have to work to clear. I use a Meguiar's G220v2 (~ your 110v2), and it is perfect for everything. Skip the CCS pads, get flat pads instead. The holes in the CCS pads keep releasing...

    ake Country Hydro-Tech Pad size?

I've got the Meg's G220, and I also got the low profile 5.5" hydro-tech pads to try! After my efforts today polishing 3/4 of my Toyota 4X4, I am extremely happy with the blue pad, it really cuts great with Menzerna PO203S, and leaves a LSP ready finish! It certainly cuts better than a LC orange...

    Megs G220 and pads?

Yes, your pads are too big, but no, your g220 is not whimpy! Try the 5.5" pads, they work a treat! I got a g220 as well, I use LC 5.5" flat and hydrotech pads. I started out with 6.5" LC ccs ones, but they didn't want to spin when trying to correct.

Wax for Black car (Want to Deep) ??

You want deep and wet look? You need to get your hands on some Pinnacle souveran, Victoria wax concours, or p21s concours! With what you got, I'd use Black hole topped with SS2 or maxwax.

LC CCS Pad for Wolfgang Polish and Glaze

Their is a big difference between those two Wolfgang products you have mentioned. The "glaze" in the duo pack is not really a glaze. It is pretty much exactly the same as Menzerna PO106FA, an abrasive polish. The Paintwork polish enhancer is a pre-wax cleaner, it is an oil emultion with no...

    Sealant VS. Wax durability review

There is a big difference between drying and curing. You wipe it off dry (~5 min), then it cures over night! (hours) :xyxthumbs:

Don't wax your car for at least 30 days!

Great write up! I just had my left side, front and back, doors resprayed, and the bodyshop said wait 8 weeks before waxing because the paint will dry from the inside-out. (It's hot and humid here, just like Florida) The fresh paint and clear coat tells me the rest of my car needs a polish...

Review: Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

That is one big reason I'd use it! This is the single reason I only use sealant only on my 4X4. Also why I use CG anti-static QD too. That's a nice idea! It is nice and dusty where I live in Australia, so if everyone sent me a wax they'd like in the test, that would be great!

Has anybody tried PB Air fresheners

I ordered the cherry and apple scent samples to try out in my latest order! I will probably get the pina colada and vanilla next time.

Review: Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

Thank you Andrew for an honest review! I have been eyeing off the 3oz tub of fuzion for a while, but the $50 cost puts me off every time. I just ordered the P21S, as it seems to be a cracker of a wax. I guess this is a complement to the Fuzion if they look the same, if anything. This review...
