Review: Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax

845 is a great wax. thinner the better imo when applying and an old baby bottle warmer is great for cold climates to get it back into a liquid form.

Lubricate door hinges and locks before winter

just don't use a white lithium grease as over time it will solidify and makes matters worse... i had a hell of a time getting the door latches on the coupe to work correctly because they were so gummed up from that crap from one of the old owners :nomore:

Soo, anyone good with gas generators??

as long as the motor has spark it is a fuel issue and since there was gas left in the tank / bowl of the carb i would lean more towards the later quick easy test is to give a small squirt of ether (starting fluid) into the air cleaner and give the cord a rip. if the motor fires for a second...

    Fix-a-flat interior coating......

i would try a apc first but the longer it sits the more potential it has to stain. not to break away from the original post but fix-a-flat is bad news. i have personally seen wheels destroyed (especially chrome wheels) from using it. over time it eats the wheel from the inside out...

    Wolfgang and a '55 Chevy

we should probably start a new thread on this but if we are talking old chevys i would go with a 64 duece with a sb2 setup for the hotrod. wouldnt mind having a 62 impala 409 4 speed (who wouldn't) and a 70 camaro rs ss 396 4 speed. then i have a list of fords too lol
