Anyone else have their UHS pads backordered? I ordered all sizes on 12/31. Just about 3 weeks now and no update or pads.

    VX5000 Question

If it needs more water I usually just let all the pressure out through the nozzle, add more water, then turn it right back on and let it build pressure till the steam light comes on. You'll see when you start playing with it. When you first get it, add water and put the cap on snug, but don't...

    Gear Oil in Carpet

I think APC would be better on oil. I've used it as a persoak when I cleaned an automotive shop carpet and it did a good job breaking up all of the grease and oil.

    Detail exterior only

Gloss and glaze are in their own category while wax and sealant are in their own. Glaze and goods are optional. Waxes usually last 1-3 months depending. Sealants usually 3-6 months. Compound -> Polish -> Glaze/Gloss -> Wax/Sealant

Steam Car Wash (exterior) in Houston TX

Well if you're looking to do exteriors, depending on the scope you may want a steamer with continuous fill. Now if you're talking about doing door handles, grills, lug nuts, the VX-5000 should be fine. Anything stuck on the exterior will need some light scrubbing. Also if you are on painted...

VX 5000 or Mytee HP 60?

I don't know if AG sells them. If you type it into google there's only a handful of people that sell them and there's one guy who is the importer. I would get the VX direct as they offer a life time warranty on the broiler.

VX 5000 or Mytee HP 60?

If you wanted a cheap extractor look at the Bissell little green with the heated tank or possibly the new dirt devil extractor.

VX 5000 or Mytee HP 60?

Same here. The VX has been one of my better investments. Does very well on hard to reach spots and on cloth. I also find many uses for it outside of the detailing world.

    Rupes Knock Off

Yup that's what I'm waiting for as well. Should be interesting. I think we will see a slight growth in large throw machines. I also think it's only a matter of time before there is another LH75 replica.

    Rupes Knock Off

I'm happy with my Rupes and the support of the company. I just bought my 21 from AG and couldn't be happier. I like all of you find it sad that other people put in all the R&D effort for another company to steal their innovations. However it is how the world works. I will stick by my Rupes.

    Quick advice

Well it has the ceramic clear you maybe need something more aggressive than both of those. Maybe try some FG400 or Carpro Fixer on an MF Finishing pad.

So then the question is will anyone have the same reaction when griots sells these? Will you all be upset that griots took the fupes?
