Anyone know the active ingredient in Chemical Guys Citrus Wash n Gloss?

I think we are all witnessing the unfortunate effects of over-exposure to CG Citrus Wash & Gloss. LOL

Help Me Select A Shampoo..not sure on DG

I still like Meguiars Gold Class for a regular wash, after trying many soaps, including CG Honeydew, Maxi-suds II, and many others, it remains the slickest of all the shampoos. For stripping wax/LSP's, I like to use Citrus Wash & Gloss from CG in higher quantity, as far as dilution ratio is...

Storing wax and detaling sprays in garage?

I keep all my stuff in large tupperware bins with wheels, when it needs to come inside due to extreme weather (in cali the summer reaches 100+), I just wheel it in the house.

Someone hit my car, need advice

So what if it's "just camry"? For some, like myself, a Camry is a big purchase. Don't put people down because they care about their car, fancy or not.

Wolfgang paint sealant why have you forsaken me?

The real Lol are adults getting offended at suggestions that a high priced product may OR may not perform better than a not so expensive product. To your less than eloquently stated position, yes CG makes plenty of sub par products. But I've used a few that really hit the ball out if the ball...

Wolfgang paint sealant why have you forsaken me?

I must agree, I'm forced to park outside, and usually under a gigantic tree. I've NEVER had spots like that after a rain, or sprinkle. Maybe those were there before? I don't use Wolfgang products, Chemical guys, has been pretty good to me though.

    Wash and wax formula

FYI, APC is strong stuff. Whenever I use it, it's usually in really grimy situations. I prefer keeping the dilitued mix in spray bottle. I would be careful on what you use this stuff on, and make double sure you have your dilitution ratio's correct. Always use these types of strong products on...

Temp. hiding swirls and scratches, until they get fixed?

In all the 3 times I've applied Meg's #7, I've never been able to tell that I applied it. I use other Meg's products and really like them, but with this one, I don't really get why some people rave about it.

Temp. hiding swirls and scratches, until they get fixed?

I would say Glossworkz Glaze from the Chemical Guys is the product you are looking for. Search around, there's plenty of reviews/info.

    How many oz of Dawn?

From what I understand dish soap, is for dishes. I use Chemical Guys Citrus wash for de-wax along with a claybar session. 1. Citrus wash 2. Clay bar if needed 3. Citrus wash, if clay barred. If I want to remove everything and start again.

what is your favorite cg glaze?

I bought a bottle of Glossworkz based on reputation alone, haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Remember that although I think there is an online retailer for it somewhere, it's primarily sold only by Chemical Guys.

I've been wondering about how to get to the edge of my 50/50 wax tin, if I ever get there.

    Rarley wash-use Ultima Waterless Concentrate

I think there's a plenty number of people that use waterless or rinseless washes. I do sometimes, when it's inconvenient to use a hose. However, I do think that if the car is really grimy, nothing beats a hose, and a foam pre-wash, then a real wash.

    CG Blacklight and V7... opinions?

No doubt it's a good combo, but I found the water repelling properties to be not so great. I would definitely top it off with a wax. 50/50 is a good choice.

    CG Blacklight question ??

Chemical guys touts the fact that v7 a spray sealant /QD can be used in combination w/blacklight. So I'm pretty sure you can put a sealant. I put, Blacklight, 5050 wax, then v7. The results are so shiny, I can't even look at my car when the sun is out.
