    ? For CCS Pad users

My kit came with a 5" and came with the 6 1/2" pads. The 6 1/2's are a little big for the PC but work ok for applying product. Not good for correction with it though.

    ? For CCS Pad users

They came in my kit when I bought it. Have been very pleased with them and the durability. I still use my original pads. The 6.5's are too big yes. I bought a handful of 5.5's and they're awesome. I've heard good things from others about how they hold up and I have been happy. I thought about...

    ? For CCS Pad users

I use them. Have for the past couple years since I bought my PC. My question is....what colors do.you use for what? I have pretty ugh all of them except the blue and purple wool one. I mainly use my white and grey/black pads. I use my grey ones for all my applications mainly. I have the red and...

    Detailed: 2006 Springdale Camper

Definitely going to try this method with my travel trailer I just got. I doubt the soap mixture would be needed once it is maintained but definitely a nice weapon for a neglected one. Love the "wax" method too. I bet it would work on cars too for a nice barrier in between waxes.

    Mini Review: Mastergrip Work Platform

I'm thinking of doing the same to my Werners. That or spraying a layer of Rustoleum Bedliner on the tops.

    AIO for my camper?

I just got a travel trailer a few weeks ago. The outside isn't in too bad of shape. I plan on using just the Megs Cleaner Wax on it. I asked my uncle what he uses and he uses Megs #6 which is basically same thing just a better version. He's always had campers as long as I can remember and is a...

    Mini Review: Mastergrip Work Platform

I like it. Looks pretty nice. Love the grip tape on it for traction. My only complaint about my Werner platforms is they're slick if your shoes are wet. I've debated shooting the tips with bed liner for grip. That's a nice platform. Great find.

    Questions on starting up?

I normally wouldn't either. But it's mainly my wife that makes me do it lol. It's her parents and she deals with it, I just do the work lol. I did her sisters car when she got her license for the cost of some clay. I normally wouldn't charge for it unless I was in a financial spot that I...

    Questions on starting up?

First off, research those mom and pop shops and see what all they offer and what they're charging for it. When I do details for people I figure $20-25 an hour plus replacement costs for materials so on and so forth. Figure up your costs first off. Then decide what you feel you should charge that...

Detailer's Helper Auto Detailing Belt Review

You could buy a roll of Velcro at the hardware store for maybe $5 and cut a peice to loo around your belt or belt loop.

Detailer's Helper Auto Detailing Belt Review

I agree. Should be around $20-30 range I think. I think I'd rather spend $20 on an apron over $50 for a belt.

    Sealant bonding

What do you mean about not having lubrication? That's pretty much what the alcohol is removing all the lubricant that would interfere with you sealant bonding as well.

    Protecting yourself -physically

Ok. I have the purple ones cause I could buy those about anywhere. They tear after a while so I would go through a few pair each time I used them. I ordered some black ones off amazon for actually cheaper than I could buy the purple ones.

Customer with oxidized 5th wheel trailer question

Then I would go with a more aggressive pad and keep up on cleaning it throughout the job. I would still check I to the marine line as there might be a AIO that will better suit the job. I don't have a ton of experience with the line but do know there I suite a bit of differs products in it.

    Protecting yourself -physically

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in black nitrile gloves and the purple ones you can buy almost anywhere? Are the black ones more breathable or anything? That's my biggest issue with the purple ones. The black one seem more expensive and not as easy to get unless you go to an auto...

Customer with oxidized 5th wheel trailer question

I would stick with wool and a rotary personally. Will go faster. I would probably look into Meg's Marine/RV line for something that will work faster and easier honestly. Most of it you can pick up OTC at a boat or RV store. I know Bass Pro had them as well. Was going to reply last night but got...

    Wax flying everywhere help

When applying a wax or sealant the method of spreading onto the paint that I suggested covers a larger area too. So you can actually put more product on the pad. Spread it on and work to it.

    Headlight restoration w/Meguiars professional kit

Now to answer the OP's questions. 1. Depends on the tool. The kit is set up to be used on a drill. I used a Milwaukee 18V Lithium cordless when I did mine. I used the low speed because high is too fast. You can't control it. So, I would recommend low unless you have a smaller drill that doesn't...
