This is a car that has been on the schedule since fall of last year. About a week before his appointment last year his oil pump went out and damaged the motor. So we decided to hold of until spring time. This 71 Camaro has nice lines and paint but your typical swirls and holograms etc from years of improper maintenance.

Prep

Mckees waterless wash, nanoskin handy towel.

Correction

Rupes Duetto/Adams swirl killer mini, IGL Microfiber cutting pads, Boss fast correcting cream

Finish polishing

Rupes Duetto/Adams swirl killer mini, Rupes Yellow pads, Hyper polish

wheels/tires

Tires- LATA, hyper dressing

wheels- Mckees waterless wash on the go

LSP- Mckees High Def Paint Sealant

Chrome- Mckees fast chrome polish

After prep

Great work and write up! Nice reflection and finish you got. And a beutieful car.

Looks great dude. No carnauba on top for show season?

Nah. Not much of a wax guy. Black car, hot summer day and that wax will be toast in no time. I very rarely even use a standard sealant like High Def Paint Sealant. Mostly use Premier which is a silica based sealant.

Looks great! Excellent work! Love that color on the 71! The wheels look great too. I am always a sucker for originality, and it's cool to see the larger diameter in the original-like design.

My favorite body style of Camaro she looks really good. Luv to have her!

Awesome results, nice work! It's refreshing working on cool hot rods. Sounds how it should as well!

Nice GTO! Should do a write up on that one too. I remember you mentioning it in another thread.

Wow, what a beautiful machine and the correction is superb. Did you consider and IGL Kenzo coating?

Thanks bud. Same here. It has a nice blend of nostalgia and modern.

Thanks bud. Yeah the GTO is my toy! It's had some write ups hear and there. But to be honest it really just gets maintenance washes since it's coated with IGL Kenzo. Doesn't really need much more lol.

Thanks! I would have loved to but he didn't have that in his budget and honestly he didn't seem to be the coating type to properly maintain it.

Nice car! Great work and pics!! It is now, most certainly, ready for show season!!

Great work! Makes me even more antsy for the time and weather to do some MUCH needed spring cleaning on my 5th gen.
