actually the dealership was right. those swirls are impossible to prevent cause you get swirls from just driving and having the wind blowing dirt against car. but as we all know they can be removed
next time take your lights out so you can get underneath the cracks in between the bumper/lense and all the way around and underneath and whatnot. (im not sayin you missed anything, looks good. it would save you time with the taping and nothing will get on the lights and you can get all the way back.) ;-)
Have you ever taken Bimmer lights out? You can but it can be very time consuming as well as even taking a connector loose can cause dash lights to pop on... I have seen this too many times where just unplugging the connector will throw a BECM code... Taping and using proper technique and post compound/lsp clean up is just fine... Plus on a customer's car they may have an objection to you dismantling it...
