I spent a weekend working on this car in August of 2014. At that time the paint was corrected and coated with CQuartz Finest. The owner opted to bring it back for a quick touch up to address some water spots, carbon buildup on the exhaust tips, and get the wheels looking good again.

Tires: Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner & Tire Brush
Wheels: Sonax Full Effect with various tools and brushes
Wash: CarPro Reset Shampoo with CarPro Merino Wool wash mitt
Iron Removal: CarPro IronX
Tar Removal: Tarminator (spot treat)
Water Spot Treatment: CarPro Spotless
Wash Again
Dry: Master Blaster 8HP
Wheel Sealant: CarPro HydrO2
Tire Dressing: CarPro PERL
Exhaust Tips: CG Metal Polish + Protection via MF Towel
Final Wipe down: CarPro Reload
Interior: thorough vacuuming, dusted all cracks and crevices, wiped down leather, protected vinyl with Einszett Cockpit Premium

Wheels cleaned up nicely and were sealed with HydrO2

The owner washes the car from time to time, but usually just wipes it down with a quick detailer if it is not too dirty. As you can see, the coating still performed like it was new. The water simply beaded right up when it was sprayed, and sheeted off easily when it was poured on the paint.

Tires were nicely dressed which makes the glossy wheels really pop

The GT-R was in good company.

Then I was finally able to get some good shots since I did not have the chance to do so the first time around. Car still looks great.

Nice update Zach.

I'm assuming these videos you posted were before ReLoad was applied?

Correct... these were immediately after washing, before the car was dried. To be completely honest, the car beaded just as well when it was dirty, too. :props:

Great job Zach. It is nice to have feedback from customers regarding the product you put on previously. Beautiful GTR! I can't get over how deep that black paint is.

Now that is a CRAZY testament to coating!... and those pics are sick!

Very nice. Finest never disappoints!

Do you keep track of the mileage the coating has seen since installed? If so, I'd like to know! I just recently started documenting this info with all my installs so I can have something to go by :)

This particular vehicle has about 5,000 miles since it was last detailed.

Still looks fantastic! I guess I wouldn't expect any less for a car that was detailed in the future! I'm sure it gets to 88mph faster than the original :P

Lol by the time my mistake was pointed out, the thread was already locked. Oops :)

That front pic of the lower bumper area is the one I like. The gloss there is unreal.

HUMP

The gloss is no doubt enhanced in that area due to the very bright ambient light behind me from the open garage door and midday sun... but yeah, looks nice in the picture :dblthumb2:

Sheeting is still off the charts!

I'm assuming there was some swirl marks that had developed?

It is driven regularly, so it had picked up a small door ding, some rock chips, and a couple of scratches... but as far as swirls, the car was in very impressive shape. The biggest issue was water spotting... unfortunately the owner had simply tried to spray the car off with the hose several times without washing or drying afterwards. Our tap water is crazy hard here, and some spots were quite severe. Spotless helped tremendously though, and the coating still beaded/sheeted perfectly afterwards, so I advised him to let them be for the time being as the remaining spots were not too noticeable.

Zach-

Awesome job! You're right about the water here! The water in Bloomington is terrible as well, thank goodness for spotless water system and CP spotless. I can't live without them now!
