Light scratches here and there, nothing too bad, the dealer was instructed not to touch the paint. That is the way one should purchase a car, unless you like swirl marks, :)

The car was washed, received a deep and a light polishing step, followed by a thick layer of Gloss Coat. Tires have PERL on them.

These are the results, unfortunately it was dark outside by the time I finished it. Owner was happy.

my goodness, look at the gloss! awesome job Thomas... :)

did you apply anything to the windows?

looks like you can jump right into it, that's some wet looking paint.

Thank you both, this was a paint only job.

Fantastic as usual Thomas!!! What did you use for light polish, pad, polisher and technique?

Thank you 2 - hyper polish/orange pad, hyper polish/black pad both on Rupes 21 at speed 5/4

Thomas, what machine(s) do you use for the tighter and harder to reach areas?

Paint looks awesome!!! The owner better have been happy! It makes ME happy to look at that paint...and it's not even my car!

Tom,
Very nice work. I am really impressed with your website.

Thanks guys! Bill, I'll let the webmaster know, he will be please to hear it. :)

Beautiful work on a beautiful car.

FWIW, it's not an R32, it's called a Golf R. They stopped with the NA 3.2 liter engine in 2008 and it now has a turbocharged 2.0 with just under 300hp.

You are exactly correct, not sure why I used R32 - I guess I am used to the old version. Sorry.

my god that looks amazing!

Wish I could get people up here to get into coatings. Once the price is mentioned, they are like nevermind, thats too much.
