A meet with a fellow Geek

^ Yeah I have scratches that I just live with on my car. But no big deal really.

It does have dirts that weren't removed when it got repainted. I could easily take them out, but ehh no big deal.

Plus it's a Jeep so I am not all that worried because it will get something when I go off road or on the beach etc.....

As long as it looks good I am happy. :xyxthumbs:

If I ever get to move where I want I will take off the All Seasons and put on AT's in the Winter for the snow and mud...

Yep, used the Flex 3401.
Works fine, took me an hour to adjust to it.

I had my rotary, wool pad I could have used but we were on a time limit, only so much we could do in one day.
Only slight scratches remained and it wasn't many, we reduced it a lot.
If you were to look at this car in person I doubt you'd find them without a light and really look for them.

Oh wow the car is a 99, looked a lot newer. Glad it all turned out great. They always seem to turn out great. I actually have a garage and a set location where I can throw another SoCal Meet up. (Hmm???)

Have you gotten to use the Flex yet? I love my Rupes. Those deeper scratches that you were talking about, if they need to be sanded with 3000 or all the way up to 1500 the Rupes and Uber compound could easily take them out. (I would prefer to use the wool hybrid pad for that type of job and I know cos I did it at my job. It was for dirts on a repaint with 1500)

Great job though guys :props:

well today took some extra pictures and also cleaned the windows with the pinnacle window cleaner and sealant. man I can't stop looking at the car. My brother loves it and he started washing his car and told me when I'm going to do his car lol well here are some pics hop you all like them.

Thanks.

Yea it was a great day. I've always wanted to meet up with other fellow enthusiasts and happy I had the chance. Hopefully we'll meet up again soon.

The glass looks nice man.
What steps did you use?

Machine polished then sealed?

Car really looks nice outside in good light:)

I used the pinnacle water spot remover with an orange pad by hand then followed up with the pinnacle glass cleaner and finished it off with the window sealant with water repellent. there are some scratches on the glass but would need the right stuff to try to take those out.

Oh yea the sun came out for about 5 minutes and the paint really popped.

Wow. That's one nice looking clown shoe. Any plans to do anything to the interior?

Looks like a great time. The color on the BMW is really nice.

Is that what those cars are called? Clown shoes?

Or that he is wearing sandals?

It's the car! ;)

But yeah.... turned out AWESOME!:dblthumb2:

That roof wrap is cool. Looks like the rear spoiler is done as well. :dunno: ????

Maybe I should just do the hood and roof of my G35, (in carbon fiber look) so I don't have to put up with freaking rock chips. (And it has the entire front end covered in ppf, all the way to the half bra.)

Didn't see any real close ups of the wheels, but from what I can see, they are REALLY clean for a 99, really clean indeed! :xyxthumbs:

thanks. Yea i did the interior on friday. i used the pinnacle black label leather cleaner and conditioner. I loved that product. It gave my leather that little extra look. Even though i've kept up with the leather really well i think this stuff is great. My leather looks pretty much new except for the driver seat that has a little wear being a 99. i vacuumed the whole interior and used the mothers vinyl protection seems i haven't bought pinnacle or WG products yet for that.

This is the sweetest car I ever had the pleasure working on.
It's much more pretty in person, I mean I freaking love it.
His wheels are flawless by the way, FLAWLESS!

He's sure to get some looks for sure now:)

thanks. the spoiler i bought like that wrapped in carbon finer then they put clear over it.
you should wrap your car it gives it a nice look and protects your car also.

Yea the wheels are in great shape just a few rock chips and the lips have minor scratches thanks to the shop that mounted my tires. i was so pissed at them for doing that, that i didn't pay them for mounting my tires. i gave them 2 options , get my wheels resprayed or not charging me. they rather not have charged me for them.
but other than that tey are clean. in a few weeks i'm going to take them off the car clean them polish them then coat them with the black label wheel coating.
