anyone used the prima hydroseal yet?

no point, people love blackfire so much and its now coming to AG.

I tried some this weekend on my boat and am still trying to get the hang of it. Will be using some on one of my cars tomorrow.

I'm about 1/2 done with my GF's ride. I first tried it on the already waxed hood and had slight streaking, another wipe the dampened app towel and they were gone. After polishing a few more panels the application went easy. No streaks and great slickness.

Just did my RSX lastnight with hydro seal. Washed, IRON Xed, Clayed, Hydro sealed...looks sweet....did streak during application but if you watch the video on application it clearly says "buff it off with a clean dry towel". So thats what i did and it looks great. Rianed in the night and when i left for work today, It was beading up like crazy....Ill let you know how it holds up.

Cool I have mine coming in today, can't wait to try it out.

 LOL. There are TONS of sealants on the market that people use. I don't think that just because BFWD is coming to AG means that all other sealants will have "no point".....

I've been emailing with John and he used Dodo Sour as his wash before Hydro Seal. DS is an enhanced soap. That is what caused the streaking.

He is going to adjust his process and let me know how it goes.

I tried Hydro Seal twice over the weekend and am still undecided on the product. I used it on my boat and on the front end of one of my daily drivers. I am not sure if I am using it properly cause I am having a lot of problems getting the product to flash.

I am applying it with a damp MF applicator and am spritzing the surface with Hydro then applying. For my the finish doesn't seem to be any slicker than if I just used Hydro...

I guess I need to keep experimenting.

I really like hydro seal if used as the video directs. I have a black car, and am a "hater" of streaky products.

If you use hydro-seal as directed, I think you'll be pleased.

I've had mixed results with a MF applicator. If you are in a humid climate, it may not flash as dramatically as in the video shot in the high plains desert, but you still should get a bit of the disappearing act.

Most of the material should flash away, but there will always be a bit left to dry wipe.

As I understand, it doesn't like oily products or even wax from a shampoo used under it. I bought DJ Supernatural Shampoo to use prior HydroSeal but still will probably follow the Amigo + Epic + HS routine instead. Hope to see more results on different combos though.

Will Hydro Seal bond to itself? In other words, can you layer Hydro Seal?
