Anything Better the Turtle WAx Endura Tire Shine?

just picked up two boxes for 17.91 at advance auto. not as cheap as some have found it and I think they had 2-3 boxes left, thinking about swinging by in the morning and getting the rest if there still there.

Was that total price or for each box? I picked up a box for $2.00 at O'reillys a few weeks back. Been keeping an eye out for anymore but havent seen any since. Great product! The only negative I can think of is the applicator sponge that comes with it. After the second coating the foam started to break down for some reason. Not sure if it was just my experience or if someone else has also experienced this.

What do you mean the sponge broke down exactly?

The sponge has done this to me as well, it starts to shed little bit of foam, I just go buy a new applicator. I think it happens from running the foam over all the ridges of the sidewall design.

This happened to me, but I talked them down to the rate I paid everywhere, $8, and then I bought all five kits. Explain to them that it is discontinued and not available most anywhere. Also let them know that it may not have picked up that status in their system yet, thus no move to clearance. It also helped that I had a previous receipt from another location.

One product I like is Chemical Guys VRP, gives a nice shine and no sling.

The foam would start to break off in small pieces. As ge0orge mentioned, it may just be happening from running the foam over the ridges on the sidewall. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.

I found this sponge on Amazon and I cut in have and for the past year I am still using the same half its Kraft Tool PL600L large sponge. I place the sponge in a plastic storage bag to keep it clean. I us the sharp edge down by the wheel and it wraps around the tire great.

I believe you but I have never had this problem and for whatever reason I use the provided applicator for longer than its supposed to be then again it has used TW built into it.

well have 4 new kits on the shelf, so think I am good for a while, will check at a couple places in the next city over in a week or so and see if I can snag one or two more but if not I am still good for a while. I usually only apply a thin layer every couple weeks or so, still have about half left in the bottle that I bought last summer so a little goes a long way :)

I usually reapply once a month during the non winter monthes and I'm good!

I reapply after every wash, normally once a week.

Not flaming you here but that's a total waste of the product! You know they aren't making it anymore, right

Agree, that's why I use Chemical Guys PVR

No comparison to the longevity of TW. I don't want to always be reapplying product weekly when I can go monthly.

with the dry weather coming soon with summer I can go weeks with out reapply TW endura,
