Do you still use it?

If not, what do you use now?

I don't currently use it only because I have so much traditional tire dressing left that I want to get rid of. I would definitely use it again in the future though.

I just tried out Griots Garage Tire and Trim dressing. Comes in a spray can. Love the stuff!!!!!!!

I think Sy's pic really brings it home on durability, proof is right there for everyone to see and the tires once again are NOT shiny, not sure where this comes from.

But you have to admit, while not a gloss finish it would still have a more semi-gloss look than the traditional satin of a dressing.

It tends to amplify the size of my 18"s (hyper silver with polished lip) from a distance.

I will agree Spazz, the finish initially is a step above matte but less than used car lot tire gloss. That said, after the 1st or 2nd wash the finish seems to tone down a bit.

Well said Spazz👍👍

It's a good product. Some of you guys are getting some good durability out of it. The most I saw was 60ish days.

These are photos from almost 2 years ago with my old wheels and tires.

They looked good at first

They started to look like this after 60ish days.

So I am sitting on a gold mine with my unused kit

60 days on a real DD is awesome, those tires still have black on them too.

I freshen up once a month with a small amount of the coating and it works GREAT 👍

Some WW might bring back a bit more sheen, I always spray some RW or WW on the tires to even things out.

Yeah it needed a fresh application. I use D114 when I'm using a rinseless or waterless on the tires as well.

I still use TW on my brothers car and my parents. It's good stuff.

I use CarPro Perl on my tires with great results.

Here's the usual "freshen up" coat of TW tire coating. I use a small amount and as you can see they are NOT shiny 😎

I have a full bottle of PERL and only used once on plastic trim (with good results). I haven't tried it yet on tires. What kind of durability are you getting? Any white residue after a rain?
