Are we not having Autogeek sales any more? Just seems like it not happening anymore? Seems a little bit strange around here lately.......

Dont know about the sales. Honestly cannot tell ya the last time i was on that site or ordered from them. I have other places im a regular at...9 times outta 10 will have my stuff next day (from NY)or in 2 days(from 3D in cali). Unlike ago where it usually took a week easily.

I've been wondering the same thing. The sales that they have had have been pretty lame, to be truthful. I typically do not buy unless the percent off balances off the shipping cost, or I have enough to order to get the free shipping option. For a while now, I've not seen a sale on here that compelled me to buy anything.

They have sales. I get the email notifications on whatever sale they do have.

There are sales....I get the emails too....just nothing that creates any sense of urgency for me to buy anything. Over on Autopia, they've had the same promo going for like 2 weeks now...also not all that stellar. Would love to see a 25 percent off for Presidents Day weekend....that might make me fill up a cart!!

I don’t like the new web site. It’s confusing and full of bugs. The old one was way better IMO.

Also Megan is gone and I believe she was responsible for sales.

I feel the AG ship is sinking fast.

This has been my situation too. The discounts either aren't that great or the restrictions on what it covers don't seem very compelling. In the past I'd hit the big holiday sales with the good discounts and the free shipping, but those seem few and far between...if at all. I only need to top up a few things at a time, no way I can/want to spend large amounts of money just to get free shipping.

I ended up cancelling my last order because they didn't have the product I ordered in stock, nor my second choice, despite both showing being available. I would have hoped the new website/storefront upgrade would have been linked to their inventory.

Some of this might revolve around supplies being in short order. I do think AG is slipping in regards to online presence. Between Griots and Adams, Autozone has the basics covered for most people. It's just a few high end specialties that people might need that the local stores might not have.

Private Equity owns PBMG now... so the influence is typical and the results are as well. Sales are not their thing. I predict they'll "optimize" the PBMG brands but it will take time.

Before, like last year wasn't it?, they seemed to have 15,20,25 percent sales frequently. It seemed like they were giving it away.
Now that spring fever is here, I have been checking for the last few weeks and have not noticed an all across the board deep discount sale.

My general observation of equity firms is that they buy companies they that have no clue about the products or demographics, just numbers.

And since they didn’t learn about the first two, the third plummets. Maybe they should rename themselves to tax deduction firms.
