Autogeek sales?

You'd think that some of then entries on this thread would be read by someone and they'd throw a quick 25% off sale at us!!!!

I’ll be honest guys… I’m done with the AG store. I went there one last time today to buy four things I’ve always bought from them.

After waiting two months for them to reappear, all the items are still ‘out of stock’.. or simply no longer listed.

I enjoyed my time as a faithful AG’er, it was a great one stop shop for basically everything I ever needed. Frequent buyer miles, good holiday sales, free items randomly included in your order.

Now it seems like a store that is letting their remaining inventory burn down before they liquidate.. Sad!

Looks like you have to spend $50 on All-On-One polishes and then you get the discount. I don’t really need any more All-In-One polish but if I were to purchase one, it might be 3D Speed, which is out of stock. Few other items I might be interested in are also out of stock.

Once you get to 50.00......they apply the 25%...I tested it to see if it would apply the discount to an item that was not an AIO.....nope.
 
I have a gift certificate I've been waiting to use during a good sale & now I'm afraid it will never happen. I figure as soon as I use the certificate & pay full price they will then have a nice sale.....

I have several. They were bought on sale so I'm not necessarily going to wait for a sale. The annual sale on green things (Griot's ceramic 3in1, etc.) didn't happen today.

There was a time when a moderator would probably have deleted your post for even mentioning DI. I agree, though......they are getting my business unless the people who are currently running AG wake up a little. We're not even seeing those 25pct off 'flash' sales anymore. I guess they are afraid that everyone will dump their points and/or gift certificates as soon as they have one? Seems to me, the choice is simple....return AGO back to a decent place to do business, or go belly-up and end up liquidating your assets for pennies on the dollar. Oh, and btw, good luck getting someone to buy up all of your house brands.
 
Don't like the new site.

Lot of products are in the wrong category, or can't easily find them or only visible when searching by brand etc.

Spend less time there than ever before. Sad.
 
It’s apparent to me no one from AG reads this forum or reads it and just doesn’t care. Either way, what a shame a once terrific site is becoming

Investment firms are run by accountants. Accountants look at anything that costs money as an expense. This site is an expense and generates little to no profit. Money spent here is a loss. Years ago there'd be thousands of users on these sites daily. The current thinking is to flood email with sales ads and hope someone doesn't ignore them.

It is a shame what has happened to autogeek. I’ve spent probably close to $5000 over the years. No more. Just made my last purchase last week because I had a $30 credit from reward miles. All my detailing purchases will be from detailed image going forward. I bought four wool pads this past Tuesday. Four days later, my order hasn’t been shipped yet. Ridiculous!
