Blackfire Crystal Seal - The 11 Minute Paint Sealant

I'm no expert here but I would believe that adding BF over the wax would be a no no..

I used Wolfgangs Deep Gloss Liquid Seal , which seems to be the equivalent of BF, and what I did was to apply once ...let it dry..( I did over nite) and then apply 2nd coat...

After that you can apply a nice carnuba...

Hi

Sorry to bring back a old post but i"m a beginer in the detailer. My questions are could i put that product on my 2010 Camaro SS with vinyl strippes can it damaged?

When i complete my polishing i will put BF what did you think if i put a good quality carnuba wax after the BF?

When my car is waxing could i put BF after to refresh it?

Thanks to answered
Mario

Hey there Mario! Spraying BFCS over your vinyl stripes is perfectly fine, infact its the only thing I would put on those stripes other than a spray wax like DG's Aqua wax or Meg's D156. As far as spraying BFCS to refresh it goes, no problem but keep in mind that your car'ks finish has a certain look to it with a nuba on it, a natrual look and when applying BFCS it will then have a VERY shiny look too it, almost "fake looking" but in a good way. You can apply as many coats of BFCS that you want, it goes on so thinnly that there's NO way of excessive build up, just excessive shine!

Thanks i'm waiting for that answer to start my car now i can make a good job i feel secure now loll, by the way its more a show car because my daily driver is a Chevy Cruze

For the Camaro i prefer a nice wet look loll

If you prefer the "wett look" stick with selants all the way. The BFCS will blow you away, providing you've already prepped the paint properly (clay/polish) What's so great about BFCS is that it flashes in 45 minutes, so you could lay down a coat the night before a show, another one in the morning before the show and providing the show is far enough away and/or you could wait, you could lay down one at the show to show someone who doesn't even know such a product exsists! Overkill....nope, just poppin' paint!!

What color is your Camaro? Pics?

Crystal seal is my main "go to" on my 13 camaro. It is just so damn easy and glosses great. I re apply every 6 weeks or so. All of 20min to apply.

Hey Mario, don't forget about that Cruize!

I use Crystal Seal on my 2011 Mustang GTCS decals regularly. They are matte- no problems so far.

Love the color but one suggestion, besides a side shot to see the rims, is to cover that gold bowtie in some charcoal vinyl to match the stripes, trust me, it will tie everything together!

Great minds think alike! Not sure what the deal with gold and bowties is? I always thought the blue bowties looked much better, the gold is cheesy....and old....and out!

Klasse AIO (All-In-One) is a one-step polish with an acrylic sealant. Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is an acrylic sealant. Blackfire Crystal Seal is a polymer-based spray on paint sealant.

If you want the maximum protection AND shine, I would recommend using an AIO/cleaner wax first (Klasse AIO is a great example) followed by a paint sealant like Blackfire Crystal Seal.

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is going to last longer than Blackfire Crystal Seal, but the ease of use and method of application couldn't be any more different between the two products. Blackfire Crystal Seal, as the title of this thread implies, is an 11 minute spray on paint sealant. It can be applied to painted surfaces, plastic trim, wheels, headlights, glass, etc. I would still recommend a dedicated trim product like Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus for all the plastic exterior trim.

If you want to keep it simple, this is the route I would go:

Klasse AIO
Blackfire Crystal Seal
Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus

Hey Nick. thanks for all of the advice. I had one question. I was looking to go the klasse aio route, but then i wanted to apply some CG ez glaze, followed by the BFCS. Would this work out ok?

It will work, but the glaze will negatively affect the durability of Crystal seal.

I would use KAIO followed by Crystal Seal. :dblthumb2:

Thanks for the response. What if i used this method.

1. Klasse AIO
2. BFCS
3. CG EZ Glaze
4. BFCS

This way the BFCS bonds to the AIO, but then i get the extra gloss from the glaze, which will be protected from another layer of BFCS. Or is there another glaze that will work better with the BGCS, or is this all just overkill trying to get glaze involved?

You won't need the extra gloss from a glaze after CS. IMO

k. I'm sure after I see the results, ill totally agree with you. I bought some ez cream and collinite 845. This bfcs might keep those items on the shelf and unused.
