BOSS pads vs B&S Low Pro

When I had my g15, the boss pads ran the smoothest on the machine and I love them on my GG6, solid pads for sure, love the boss mf pads also

The B&S Low Pro are probably the best made pads I've ever seen. They are a little thicker than the BOSS pads, but about the same height as a RUPES pad. The maroon polishing pad is the most versatile of the bunch. If I could only have 1 pad to use on a car it would be that one. Cuts great when using a compound and finishes out great when using a medium or finishing polish.

Interesting, the Hybrid pads have been my go-to pads for the Flex 3401. I'll have to give these a try on the Flex. I used the green one before on the Rupes 15 for correction with good results.

I assume that the 6.5" Low Pro pads will fit the Flex 5.5" standard backing plate and the 5.5" Low Pro pads will fit the Flex 4-3/8" backing plate?

Which Low Pro pads (colors) are you mostly using?

Correct, I only use the Low-Pro Green, Orange and Maroon(all round pad). The BnS pads are the most durable pads there is.

I like my GG6 when I need some correction, less vibration and more power and use the hf when I'm just going to polish

I've have both, like the low pros better.
They take soon much abuse too..but more pads in Rotation per job extends pad life further.
B&S should be releasing their Euro wool/MF hybrid pad soon.

My Boss pads are now strickly for single stage paints

And at around $7.90 per pad, the 5.5" are quite affordable.

Yeah, the BOSS pads are so much more expensive. I plan on buying at least 15 so the B&S pads ate way more affordable.

to me the low pros run smoother when actually on the paint surface
while free air spinning, the thin pros were the smoothest at speed 6, followed by the Boss, then the low pros.
speed 4 they all felt the same
and ditto on low pros working good on the 3401. Ive been using the 6.5 lowpros on both my G21 and 3401 with stock plate
