As much as I like my Camry.... Toyota needs a Camry AMG edition with a 450HP RWD Twin Turbo V6.... The SXE is all sports trim but no bite. I saw a special on the Hyundai Equus. It is suppose to be like a RR Ghost at 1/3 the price with more bells and whistles..... IDK. The car looks "Good" but if I was spending that type of money on a car it should not look like a brick from the outside. Some more curves might help.... just for ideas the body design of the Fisker Karma comes to mind.

The Equus is now several generations old. It was replaced/renamed to the G90 a few years ago and has undergone at least one, if not two, refreshes since. The design is more brick-lick, but that is driven by crash standards more than anything else these days. Just about any car build now which is to be sold globally will need to conform with new pedistrian crash standards from several regions/countries which mandate the angles of the front end of a car and crush space between the hood and the engine. This leads to flatter, more upright fronts vs the sleek pointed designs we saw in the past.

Something else to consider is the nature of the car. The G90/Equus is designed to the the Korean S-Class. They are supposed to be large, imposing, executive limousines, not a sleek sport sedan.

An old college friend of mine has a show on the Motor Trend TV network (a.k.a Velocity) called "Every Day Driver". The first episode of season five aired on Saturday morning and they tested the GTI, Civic Si, and the Veloster N. The Veloster was the clear performance winner. Hopefully the episode will run again in about six or seven weeks and should be available on Amazon Prime around the same time if you want to catch it.

:iagree: those wheels looks terrific!

The wheels do look great but there are 2 downsides. They are 30lbs a piece and they are 19s so the tires are 235/35 and you can feel every pebble on the road with the low profiles. I will be switching to 18x8.5s and running a 245/40 tire on em come bonus time.

Good review and she's pretty easy on the eyes....BUT, she's a real car guy too:props:

I thought it was a Toyota Corolla before I saw the badge.
I can see where you'd say that and that's a compliment to Toyota as they've performed a miracle on the "missionary position" car that used to be the last couple gen Rollas

We might if we had a picture of it with non-OEM wheels installed! :poke::)

For OEM, those aren't bad looking. Lots of spokes though which must make them a bear to clean.

Still here and I'm going to that same driveway when I leave here, pic coming soon! As far as cleaning the stock wheels, nothing Brake Buster and a Speed Master can't handle
