Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

Hyundai has really stepped up their quality. I cleaned this Genesis at some point over the summer and was really surprised by the quality.

I think I mentioned this in another thread, but I work part time for a Honda dealer and a Kia dealer (both in the same company). I really like the new Kia Optima and the Kia Sorento. Kia has really stepped up their game from even just 5 years ago. Very nicely priced too, I might add. :props:

I spent a few hours at the NAIAS today and spent quite a bit of time at the Hyundai display. I still love that Equus. They had both models there. The higher model was pearl white with tan interior...very pretty. Love those 19" chrome wheels too.
I also sat in the Veloster and it is very, very cool. I like how the wheels have a stripe in them with the body colour. The other concept, Curb, was very cool too. They sure have their house in order. They just need to add AWD to the Equus and add some more tech to the engine. I couldn't even get one to look at when I was in the market. Shame. Next car maybe?

Bought a Elantra Limited last week and the fit and finish it awesome. It has less Orange peel then our new Jags . The Elantra is the first Hyundai being bulit in this country . I will go out on a limb and say if your looking a really nice car in the $20 grand range give a look at the new Elantra Limited .

Our new Sonata was built in Montgomery, AL - is that where the Elantra's are built?

And I am quite impressed with the paint as well. A little bit of OP on the doors, but really good overall.

Hey Dalton .I believe it is made there and actually I bought it for my son . Everyone in the house gets a new car every couple years except me :cry:.

Yep plant is in Alabama, SUV's have been built there for a while. I would check on the NHTSA crash specs as the older ones did not rate so well. Also do not take the JD Powers info like it's science those numbers are fudged by every manufacturer. Hyundai/Kia Corporate used to be a client of mine in Socal, nice cars not so nice a workplace though!
 
assuming this will be in the same class as the toyota yaris, i'll take this over that anyday...

So yes, they are really that good.
I know that we didn't buy a BMW, but, for the cost, warranty, reliability, and the overall "niceness" of the vehicle, I am glad we didn't. (Yes, I have driven BMW's, and they are great to drive).

a year or so ago, my uncle (owns a wrecking yard so knows alot about cars) was going to buy a BMW 7 series, but decided to go with a Lexus LS460 because he was going to keep the car forever and the parts aren't expensive compared to BMW's especially in the long run...

I went to go look at one last weekend Adam and none of the dealers had one availible. :(


I have the sales guy crunching numbers now and we'll see what he comes up with. I'd like to lease as I change cars way to often to own. ;)
