CONFUSED - Induced Holograms With A DA?!?!

One thing I appreciate about Anthony is is strong work ethic and his willingness to share his experiences on this forum to help others. This forum is better from his participation.
:xyxthumbs:

:iagree: 100%. Anthony works his butt off.

Would be great to see photo's of the issues he's haveing, see the final results, and hear what the solution was if one is found.

Me too...

I called Anthony and talked to him this morning about this project and I'm confident he'll see this project through to success and share what worked and everyone on this forum will benefit from his experience.

Now lets keep this thread on topic.

Thank you all ahead of time.

It was a pleasure talking to you Mike - thank you for the kind words as well :dblthumb2:

to many here to read them all so this may have been said. But do you think someone else worked on this and f ed it up and buffed it with some big time filler wax and then you came along and pulled it out and thats how it got there ? but y didnt you see this before it left the shop ? If you ask me you didnt do it but sometimes you just help them out did you do the work ? or is the worker the did it scared to say any thing for fear of job loss ? the time you speand reading all this you can fix it lol good luck

I thought the same thing about a previous polish with tons of fillers - definitely not a worker scared of his job though.... only myself and Tyson (business partner) polished on this particular vehicle. I will attack it with different products, techniques, etc - out of our norm daily ops to hopefully figure out the out of norm issue. It will get figured out though :xyxthumbs:

B & B,
I would like to suggest you try Poorboys Pro Polish with white pads.
If you need more step up to Poorboys Pro Polish 2 with an green pads.
Best of luck Sir
I look forward to seeing what solves the problem.

I don't want to go through and read all the posts since I last read. I don't know what polishes you have there...If you want to try some different polishes without having to buy 10 different products I have Four Star final polish which is a DAT product and optimum Finish polish which is supposed to finish great on all paint, soft, black, etc. paint. I would be happy to send you those to try

Well these two gentlemen are awesome! Thank you both for the samples :dblthumb2: I will get to play with them tomorrow :buffing:

No problem...any luck resolving the problem?

No - it was not there :/ I walk in and the tour bus was there and the F-650 gone..... so it will have to wait 2 more weeks. Instead we detailed his hummer, escalade, and audi - the guys will be out there working on a trailer for him tomorrow but I will not be there so it will be another week or two. I was really wanting to jump on it too!

I would imagine you do. Thanks for the update...just let us know when you get to give it a shot. :)

Wow..this has been quite the thread.lol
Look forward to seeing how the results turn out!!! Every post I read I learn more and more, and this one has definitely showed me a lot of how professional and worthy AG is. Thanks Anthony and AG members for keeping it back on point.:dblthumb2:

Lol no doubt about that man. And I have high hopes for ya, so I'm sure you'll get it figured out with flyin' colors:xyxthumbs:

Just read all 10 pages, pretty sad that people feel the need to bash someone seeking information... You work your butt off and it shows! You obviously produce quality results or you wouldn't be as successful as you are :dblthumb2:

Looking forward to the end result of this one :buffing:

this has happened to me also. but i am not an expert/ pro like some of you all. i only work on my own vehicles. but i have those halo's/ haze happening with the megs da correction system. but i have also tried the 105/205 and had the same thing. i just figured it was my technique. so i am very interested to see what the final results will be that takes care of the issue. subscribed

What kind of car are you working on that is getting the halos??

Well I just talked to my client a few minutes ago - we will be working on it this Sat. I told him I involved this on AG and that AGians have helped by tossing info and by tossing
products this way - he was stoked for sure. Either way this issue will get resolved - so I can sleep at night lol.

it is a beater. 98 yukon with clear coat failure. i went outside to look at them again, and the more i look at them, themore it looks like scratches. so i am sure it is my technique. but still curious to see what happens here.
