yes im sorry . it is but the water doesnt leave any spots at all.. is great!! there 2 large canisters with a digital read out..

I use it to wash my car once a week, and for when I detail other cars a few times a month. You can tell how many gallons of DI water you will get even before you buy the system. You will need to test the TDS of your water. You can get up to 2000 gallons of water if your TDS is low(50). My TDS is 245, which equates to approximately 350 gallons of water before I need to change the resin. There's a meter that lets you know when it's time to change the resin.

Mark, what is TDS and how did you measure it?

TDS= Total Dissolved Solids

You can measure it with a TDS meter. The hand held meters tend to be more accurate.
