Have a new IK foamer on the way for the touchless. Looking forward to it. So far Touchless has been great. Only issue is it cleans so well, it pulls my trim dressing right out after a couple washes. For the record, though, I am only using 303 Aerospace. Can't bring myself to break away from it, but the fact touchless is pulling it out I need to try something more permanent. I didn't have longevity gripes about 303 Aerospace until I started using Touchless.

I would like to know if anyone on the forum has tried Pure Wash in an IKE Foamer or the equivalent as a "dry foam" like Frothe or some of the other "foaming waterless washes"

Pure wash is their Traditional soap. Pure Rinseless is what your thinking of. I’ll try and give it a shot tomorrow.

Looking forward to getting my hands on the new Oberk APS(All Purpose Soap) shows a pH of 9.5 and claims to be a good prep/strip wash and ideal for coating maintenance. Interested in the strip wash aspect and of course I like tough wheel soaps and that sounds like it would fit that billet.

Actually I was thinking of the Pure Wash applied with a foaming sprayer since it seems to foam so well but you may be right, maybe the Pure Rinseless would do what I am looking for

I am just wanting to mimic a foaming waterless wash and produce a dry clingy foam as part of a hybrid wash process I am envisioning

Feynlab products are much easier and cheaper for me to get than some others so I am hoping one or the other will work for my project

The reviews of their core two step system are always good but folks on here never talk about them, I assume since AG doesn’t sell them

I have been wanting to try Pink for years now, as I really like my other 3D products.

Yeah I just wouldn’t be sure it would wipe/rinse easy without at least hose pressure.

I tried PR today in a foamer.

Vertical panel:

Flat panel:

Foamed decent I used .5 oz in an older IK foamer. Foamed well but wipe off was horrible. Streaky.

Waited 30 seconds see if the streaks would dissipate…. They didn’t.

I had to go over it twice with Frothe to remove. It was pretty cold so I tried other side of hood with just Frothe and work great just like normal.

This stuff can be streaky if you try to go strong in a rinseless so I think it was just too concentrated.

If I dilute more I fear it would not be foamy enough. I’ll just stick with a regular sprayer for Pure pretreats.

Wow, that was a LOT of effort and I appreciate it very much

I have watched a few videos and wiping off Frothe or other foaming washes seems like it can be a bit of a chore

Wiping it off with a rinseless product using wash media that's a little drier than a normal rinseless wash process seems to help

My idea was doing a garage wash that way AND then following up the foaming waterless/"drier" rinseless wash/wipedown with a full blown rinseless wash to get any stray foam and hopefully leave a decent finish that's clean enough to follow up with a wipe on/wipe off spray sealant product

I was thinking the 2 Feynlab products because of the "synergy" we frequently talk about when comparing products in various niches, but it looks like I need to suck it up, buy Frothe for salty conditions, and then go from there and add a secondary rinseless wash to help in the nooks and crannies, jambs, hatchback track, etc

I know this sounds like a lot of effort but it's only time and I will have that in spades once we get into the new house

Frothe wipe down is not has hard as it looks. I fold MF towel in 4ths and make one pass with half a square removing bulk of it. I do this for full panel.

There will be some left but I just apply hydrate and dry and it’s good. I get what I can out of crevices but whatever’s left dissipates.

You can blow out with compressed air or MV sidekick if you care.

No more work than a regular rinseless and use about same towel.

Some times i will wipe with a towel soaked in rinseless but I think it actually works better dry as I feel it picks up foam better.

I like Frothe because I feel nothing is as slick and “cushiony” as their foam. Adam’s requires twice the amount so price is similar as you’d need 2 bottles of Adam’s to make same.

Now when Adam’s has a buy 1 get 1 sale it does make it a great value and hopefully they do a gallon bottle
