Current Favorite Soap/Shampoo

No not that I'm aware of.

I have been quite happy with the trio of:

Adam's Car Shampoo -> Dirt cheap here in the US, delicious wildberry scent, and safe in the sun. It has the least bite of the three, but still cleans well enough.

Carpro Reset -> Excellent cleaning, slickness, and scent. The gold standard for a reason. Rinses the easiest of the three.

Sonax Actifoam Energy -> Crazy slick, the strongest pre-soak of the three, and a Red Bull scent so strong it lingers in the wash media for a couple of loads. Also a great wheel soap.

I used the Cerakote today for the first time. Per instructions, 1oz per gal. I used 3oz in 3gal. Smell is nice (citrus). What impressed me the most was how well it rinsed off and lubrication. Rinses off very nice/very slick. I did not use a foam cannon. Pre-washed using Primus 2.0. Hard to assess the cleaning because I used Primus first.

Didn't even know they had a RW

I’m a sucker for nice smelling products, may need to try the Sonax Actifoam Energy. Red Bull smells amazing to me, try not to drink them though. Slippery slope!

I still like the performance of Meguiars Hyperwash especially considering the price.

I'm on year ten of using ONR as my "shampoo".

I purchased Gold Class shampoo around May of 2017. I was in a pinch on location. It was gone before the end of summer. I gave it away.

At work we usually use Fade To Black Foaming Shampoo. We also use FTB Strip Wash, Or Graphene Wash.

Never heard of that brand but I remember when the "Gold Class" line came out, the wax was pretty decent for the time but they're so far in the rear view for me, although I just bought Hyper Wash for the first time because of the other post as well as alot of positivity about it over the years...stay "tuned"

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Hyper Wash.

Just be forewarned not to expect much from Hyper Wash as far as the scent. IMO that’s the only thing that soap lacks, a strong distinctive scent. I guess maybe they had the professional in mind that has to use it on a daily basis and maybe they didn’t want to overwhelm them with a powerful scent.

On the other hand, a soap in their same line, Shampoo Plus has what I consider an intoxicating scent as far as car soaps are concerned. I’m also very fond of Megs Gold Class scent. I was hooked on that for nearly 2 decades.

Hyper wash is great, I use it still on the work cars occasionally. Great suds, super slick, smells nice. It is just a great product overall and if you catch it on sale it has great value. I'm on my third gallon in about 8 years.

I like it's simple, clean smell. It smells like cleaning is happening lol. Like reset.

I've always wondered about Shampoo Plus, you really don't hear much mention of it. I took a punt on Hyper Wash after many here suggest I try it, and I've found it very impressive. Yes, it lacks scent, and I find it doesn't rinse freely, but in every other regard, I love it. As for Shampoo Plus, I think I originally dismissed it due to the conditioning agents, so went with Hyper Wash instead.

Any one try ADS shampoo +? Opinions?

I have had a couple of bottles now and it's a very accomplished maintenance soap. It foams very well, the thin consistency makes it easy to pour, is decently concentrated, the cleaning power decent, the scent somewhat subdued. Overall, Shampoo+ is an impressive soap, one that you won't be disappointed by. But...............................

I love the ADS brand, there is not a dud in their product range. Some even say Shampoo+ is just as good as Carpro Reset. However, for me it lacks a certain something that I can't put a finger on. Put it this way, I don't agree that Shampoo+ as good as Reset, but then what is? Just keep in mind that I'm talking about minute differences here, neither soap is a dud. But then there is the price........................................

A 473ml bottle of Shampoo+ is $37.95 AUD. For an extra $2.00 AUD, I can have a 1000ml bottle of Reset. For me, its a no brainer. I also had a look at USD prices for Shampoo+ and Reset, a 500ml bottle of Reset is actually $2.00 USD CHEAPER than the smaller 473ml bottle of Shampoo+. Now, I'd happily pay that price premium if it were the better soap, but it's not.

We’re would you rank it with reset and Snow?

1st - Carpro Reset
2nd - NV Snow
Equal 3rd - Koch Chemie GSF
Equal 3rd - ADS Shampoo+ (cleans better)

I've put GSF and Shampoo+ as equal because if you needed the extra cleaning power, you favor ADS. Otherwise GSF is slicker and smells better.
