Wow! Awesome job my friend! Beautiful ride too![]()
Beautiful work on that Beast Marc! That looks amazing. Everything about it is perfect.
I see the tow hook cover in front is missing. I assume the owner is using the tow hook mounted license plate.
Thanks for sharing.
That came out beautiful! If only we could get this Boss system around here.
That car is ridiculous... nice work.
Very very nice work!!!!
Few questions
1. How much faster did the fast cutting cream cut versus the cutting cream?
2. How many passes?
3. What machine speed?
4. How much pressure?
5. What arm speed?
6. What was your pad priming process?
Thank you in advance
1. I'm not sure. I didn't time that.
2. I did about 6-8 section passes per work area.
3. I used speed 4 on the BOSS G21. Speed 5 on areas with deeper defects.
4. I would say about 5-10 lbs of pressure. A lot less than your traditional Da.
5. Slow arm speed of course. Same arm speed as with the DA.
6. Pad priming process is the same as any MF pad. Once primed, I put 3 dime sized dots on the pad. I have a picture of me priming the pad in my BOSS creams and pads review.
Hope this helps.
A simply beautiful job.
It is always amazing to see how much better properly cleaned and cared for wheels add to the appearance of a car.
And the paint looks better than new. It's too bad that even the best cameras don't bring out how spectacular that paint looks after being totally perfected. :dblthumb2:
It just looks so fantastic in person. And it's not a common color. That's why I remember how great it looked in the sunlight.
That has to be one happy owner.
Awesome write-up Marc! Really glad to see you posting some more of your awesome work.
Marc, the results you got off a compound and microfiber is stunning. I believe this has just sold me on the griots boss system. I am going to call today and get one ordered up for me. Is the coating a simple application and buff or would you say it's akward, I have heard mixed reviews on the coating application but the gloss is stunning. Maybe I'll be able to share some of my own work once I get the new polisher and some better weather.
yes this will be helpful. Just wanted to make sure priming with these products were the same as most. HD threw monkey wrench in priming pads as there no need to cover pad then add working product. Just wanted to make sure I do not use to much
Great job matte. This German is a beast!
That's incredible! Looks amazing when all said and done. I really like the finishing photos and the step by step photos as well, great stuff!
Awesome results man!
I just have to say that this is very good work. Beautiful car and you made it even better. Awesome job. How did you like the WG coating? Was it pretty easy to apply?
