How many sprays were you using? The reason I ask is the more product on the surface the harder it is to work with.
I have had other feedback with similar comments. I just used it like any other quick detailer / drying aid. It seems Gyeon recommend applying a small amount to a damp towel, wiping, and then following with a final wipe with a dry towel. I will be keen to try this next time as clearly my technique was wrong.
That’s how you apply “dry”. In this video he’s pretty liberal with it in a dry towel as a drying aid. I think where he differs is doing a final buff.
For me point of a QD drying aid is to be able to just dry.
Also backwards in blowing out crevices before drying…

As to the last part, I think I understand a little bit, at the end of last year I really wasn't happy at work. We were getting busier, more and more work getting piled on, but no help given, but other sections doubled their manpower. I was tired and sore at the end of every day, too tired on weekends to enjoy my hobbies, and I wasn't sleeping well. I knew I had an 11 day break coming up at Christmas. I spoke to my family over the break, everyone agreed, get the hell out of there. So I put my notice in the first day back, I finish up at the end of the month. Told them I need to do something different, but I don't know what, yet, maybe something part time. Funny thing, since I put my notice in, I'm sleeping better, my blood pressure is the best it's been in years, I'm a lot more relaxed. I won't say this is what you need to do, but you have to do what's right for you.

Deyon, I know your like the rest of us and have more products than you need but can you get DIY Detail there? I've done an about face on Ivan and his new product line. I based my opinion on him denouncing soap and just needing RW & WW's and while he's right, to a point, he's come up with an awesome soap called Incredible Suds, name sounds simple but the product is outstanding️
️I took advantage of their Black Friday deal and since then placed a 2nd order for other products. Now I haven't been able to use their Iron Remover or the Quick Beads yet due to needs and weather but I've got HIGH EXPECTATIONS for Quick Beads!!

Another brand not offered in Australia.
By the sounds of things, this is a brand that is gaining lots of friends, so I could see it coming eventually. I want Griot's to come here too.
It's too bad Griot's Garage isn't available and/or would cost too much to get there because you would LOVE Griot's Garage products, quality from top to bottomAnother brand not offered in Australia.

I used to get asked the same thing at my old job. When I hit 30 years, I got a $2500 bonus, but they don't give you the cash, you have to spend it and then claim it back. So I bought a bunch of accessories for the FJ. I kept getting asked why I didn't spend it on a holiday. My answer, my holidays are spent going somewhere in the FJ. If I'd spent it on a holiday, it would be all done and forgotten, I've still got the FJ.Two weeks leave from my main job starts as of now, not returning until February 8th. I will still need to continue to do my private gardening jobs, no rest for the self-employed.
I keep getting asked if I'm "going away". Going away where? What for? I can't think of anything worse to be honest. All that work preparing, traveling to, traveling back, spending the whole time away just wanting to go home and rest.......no thanks. I have everything I want to do right here at home, a list of projects that has kept me at least somewhat motivated for the last couple of months.
The phone is being turned off and I'm hiding from people as much as possible.
Society has a habit of making people feel bad about not following what everyone else is doing.
I don't drink, never have. So of course, I get the usual baiting by people trying to just get me to "have one". And of course, I get left on the outer for not playing along.
I hate travel. So, of course people are puzzled when I say I'm not going anywhere and then made to feel like I'm somehow missing out on life.
I'm an Aussie male, so of course I am supposed to love AFL football and support a team till death. Except I hate football and all the pointless media attention it gets.........you know the stuff, Jo Jo Smith had dyed his hair purple and has decided to take up knitting in his spare time.......... So again, there is something wrong with me for not giving a cr.p about the whole thing.
Anyway, rant over.
