I used the orange BORG buckets for a long time* but then got a kit with dolly and grit guard about three years ago. It’s black. Then they had a sale at the rag company on a set for rinseless with sticker, grit guard, and dolly. It’s white. They don’t function any differently but tend to use them now. Still use the plain old Home Depot lid though my wife has offered me an excess gamma seal lid. I’m considering it.
REALLY tempted by the clear buckets like ADS is selling. I need it like a hole in the head. If the ADS was the same size as my other buckets I might have grabbed one.
* probably right at twenty years on the oldest of the orange buckets and ten years on a blue one I grabbed up to differentiate when I need to.
This may or may not bother you, but know that the clear plastic is not as durable as other plastics and will easily show scuffs/scratches. And I say that as a ADS fanboy.
"Please note: due to the clear, glossy finish of these buckets, minor scuffs or scratches may occur during manufacturing, transit, or normal use. We cannot guarantee a perfectly flawless, scratch-free surface."
