Favorite Chemical Guys Product(s)?

which shampoo is the one that is used to strip sealants and waxes?

Wash and Clear - 2 ounces per gallon

Some will say wash n' gloss, but I don't think that makes sense to use something to strip that has glossing agents in it.

Im starting to notice a trend here - seems like you and I use/favor many of the same products:props:

One thing to note Jason, you were around long before me. I pay attention to what a lot of you guys use and post. :)

I wonder why DI is the only vendor that carries the original Citrus Wash(orange)?

They are not, Autoality does. DI is the only vendor presently offering the water spot remover, that I'm aware of.

Citrus Wash (orange) or Citrus Wash & Gloss (yellow)

I thought that was for daily use? Too much overlap in my opinion. Citrus Wash & Gloss is a very, very slick soap and does indeed strip.

Ive been looking at both products and I think this is backwards. Wash and gloss is the one that strips the wax and clear is then one that is wax safe

CWC= Citrus Wash Clear can remove lsp at certain dilutions - it does not "leave anything behind"

CWG = Citrus Wash Gloss can similarly remove lsp at certain dilutions - it does "leave something behind"

If you look at the instructions of wash gloss and wash clear as *paint cleansers*, both instruct the same dilution.

Exactly.

Personally, I wouldn't want to use something to strip that leaves something behind.

It's great.... Not a miracle product like some think it is meaning, you don't just wipe it on and the waterspots magically come of... You have to really work it for tough spots

Def worth having for the times you need it

It does work on really tough stuff though and it's easy enough to use. Rinses cleanly and doesn't smell bad.

Went to visit the Chemical Guys facility since it is closer to me . Pretty awesome and they have women in bikinis walking around lol.

I have no problem with girls in bikinis but this sounds a little gimmicky.

That is usually how they do their marketing. If you look at their website most of the stuff they blow out of proportion. Yeah girls in Bikinis are nice, but when it comes to a product I like when it has good reviews backing the product up, and a good description of the product.

So has anyone tried the Optical Polishes?

For the record...all their great car wash products are perfectly safe for maintenance washes without stripping anything. Thats the genius behind these products...you can vary the dilution rate depending on how you want to use them. Also for the record their one gallon citrus wash clear daily at maintenance dilution rate...comes out to 17 cents per wash and for you foamers it's fantastic. Nothing on the market comes close to getting best bang for buck. If I were doing high volume washing I'd have five gallon contains of that stuff.
