Really, and you post this because you work in the manufacturing plant and know that for a fact, if that's the case please, by all means post pictures of the batching and bottling and labeling lines.

Menzerna USA has always been the importer. Menzerna USA is now Jescar. Power Lock and Color lock have always been Menzerna USA made products, so now relabeled as Jescar. Jescar polishes have absolutely nothing to do with Menzerna.

Whatever, you know what I was trying to say...

M101/Optimum Polish II produced outstanding results while correcting my front bumper, earlier today.

Both are SMAT, so there is no need to "break down" the abrasives, but both products allow for long buffing cycles with just a spritz of water/QD. I used the M101 with a LC yellow flat pad and finished out hologram free and LSP-ready on my Makita, were I have chosen not to follow up with OP II on a crimson LC Hydrotech, and that is no exaggeration. The OP II took things to that "next level", so i'm glad I did.

Always thought OP II was a tremendously underrated product. I use it for wetsanding spot corrections down to 2000 grit and it performs flawlessly and quickly. In fact, i'm fairly certain it would be able to handle 1500 grit sanding marks as claimed, I just haven't had occasion to try. It has also performed wonderfully as a medium cut polish and as a fine/finishing polish.

Have also recently been experimenting with 3D's AAT (501/502) combo and have had great success, but the compound comes with a bit of a learning curve IMHO. Didn't seem to like temps below, say, 50 degrees. 502 does, indeed, finish out hologram-free on a rotary.

Glad for the Polish 2 mention. I've been wanting to sample the three traditional Optimum polishes.

Right now I really like M100 and M205. Both are easily available and very affordable. M100 dusts very little in my use and cuts pretty fast- especially on wool!

Also am very impressed with the Blackfire SRC duo- both finish out so nice!

Haven't had expirience with HD CUT yet, but if its anything like HD Polish, I have got to try some!

Have tried all three when I was polishing w/a GG6, which I have since swapped for the Makita rotary. The Compound II did not impress me, tbh, but I have read that it was meant for rotary usage and thus performs much better with forced rotation machines, which I wouldn't doubt based upon my experience with prior experiences with polishes like CarPro Fixer. I think they may have reformulated the Compound II since I last played with it in 2013, though, so I may try to get my hands on a sample if I can. The Finishing Polish did not perform any better than the OPII on a finishing pad, for me at lest - YRMV.

OP II is legit. Just does everything very well.

Menzerna SHC400 (if its not too bad) - if it is SHC300
Carpro Essence for polishing

Jescar is now the importer of Menzerna to the United States. So basically Menzerna will now be known as Jescar.

They have been since 1978.

Since 1978, Jescar has been the US distributor of Menzerna Polishing Compounds, providing all of the US with the compound and polishing power of the German made products. Jescar wanted to expand on this line of car care by providing unique formulas that were not available through Menzerna Germany, and some of our fan-favorite products were born!

Jescar Power Lock+ Plus, an intensely durable and shining polymer paint sealant, Jescar Color Lock, the warm carnauba glow inducing last step product, and Jescar Paint Refresh, a professional instant detail spray are all produced by Jescar in the US and continue to provide long lasting and durable paint protection and enhancement.

Something also interesting about Jecasr from their website I read is that they are huge in the guitar manufacturing and finishing business.

From another forum....If this is true, it sounds like a guitar blend first.

"Just a note about Jescar:
They are the USA importer for Menzerna products, but their forte is in guitar frets and finishing of guitars, and many of Menzerna`s automotive compounds and polishes have been "tweeked" (reformulated) for the guitar industry.
That said, they soon will become the sole importer and distributor of Menzerna products and will sell Menzerna products under the Jescar brand. This is already being done with the sealant (Power Lock) and wax (Color Lock). Seems to me there was a post some time ago about this subject and a Jescar representative assured everyone that the Menzerna products will still be available, although some may be tweeked (reformulated) for the USA market."

If I may interject on the guitar polisrthing aspect of what people are saying about Jescar

Guitar frets are not normally polished with compounds or polishes of any type, Jescar or not. They are polished out using files for rough shaping, and then with progressively finer files and sandpaper until about 2000 grit or so.

I can see where Jescar's products (modified Menzerna products) would be used for polishing out gutar bodies either the lacquer or polyester/polyurethane coatings on acoustic or electric guitars. After all, most guitar finishes ware derived from automotive paint. I may be wrong, but the Jescar/Menzerna products are not intended to be used as metal poishes, and guitar fret materials are metal of one type or another.

The repair tech at one of the stores where I teach, (drums) uses fine grade sand paper on the frets.

In fact, I gave him a couple sheet of my Meguiar's 2000, and 3000 grit papers because he's always running to Panera Bread for me...

Most of the manufacturers use Menzerna if I'm not mistaken. The techs I know around here use the old school Meguiar's M04, M01, M02, M09, M07! And they aren't about to try anything different!

You'd be a great expert witness.

What are the differences between FG400/SF4500 and the two Jescar products?
I'm waiting on the arrival of the Jescar finishing polish. The compound smells NOTHING like FG400. Very little smell, while FG400 has a strong chemical smell. JCC seems to dust less than FG400 and just "feels" different when polishing.

Do you think JCC finishes similar to FG400?
