Whats up everyone, been having a new logo worked on for me and am wondering what you guys think of it. Feedback is appreciated!

is the slogan set in stone? I think the design and color contrast is cool (personally would do a little lighter color combination), but I would want the slogan to go more along with the name of the business. just my thoughts. not trying to knock or anything though. looks good!
 
Looks Good....I told you a long time ago I liked the term "a world beyond the wax"

I really like the logo!
 
Love the logo. It pops, and grabs my eye. And I really like the slogan.
 
Logo isn't bad... Not fond of the slogan. I think that most people (think your customer base) wont get the slogan. I am sure they will "get it" once you explain it to them but, that defeats the purpose. Also, the image of the world doesn't have much to do with detailing.
 
It looks good to me. But the one thing I would do differently is have the slogan in a different color, just so it would stand out a little more and emphasize it. Just my opinion though.
 
Looks good! I would like to see how the logo looks without the star/shine/gleam running into the words above it. Just my opinion. I like it though.

Hi Wills....You've come a long way....Looks a lot better than your original ideas on 11.21-22.2011, even though it seems you've ditched the Corvette idea!!!!

That starburst thing interfering with your text might make it hard to read; I still think you need to simplify.
 
Do you only do windows and wheels? is there a story behind the name?

I like this logo more than the "flier" looking former one that Bob pulled from the archieve.

I personally think it's a bit much. The slogan (I may be wrong) almost looks like a larger font than the business name. I would emphasize the business name more.

I would also either make the slogan either a different color, or give a color outline to your business name so it stands out. Maybe use that blue to outline the letters of your business name.

I would also ditch the graphic with the world and the star. I think it takes over the logo, and pulls your eyes away from the point. I would surround the car with the business name and slogan and keep it simple. Just add some color to the font instead of the big graphic. Or maybe even add the "shiny star" to the car somewhere, instead of the world. I think that would make more sense.

Also, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to put the slogan in between quotes ("A World Beyond The Wax"), instead of between apostrophes ('A World Beyond The Wax').

I like where it's going. Just my opinion, ha. You asked! :dblthumb2:

lol sweet. I got mine done by Queensboro.com. They had to re-do it a few times but eventually got there. The idea was mine, i just needed someone to put it together.

Well i think im gonna stick with the slogan for a couple reasons...one the W's all kind of roll together...two, the slogan "A World Beyond the Wax" I'm thinking will prompt the question "what is better than a wax?" ...then bingo, you get into paint correction. I know everyone wont like it or get it

I remember that! That was quite a few months back but it kinda stuck with me so i decided to hang onto it.

I understand....both arguments...some wont get it, others will...but most of all im hoping, as i said above....to prompt the question of WHAT goes beyond wax? How can you do something more than just wax? I know its a risk and really do get where you are coming from... I haven't given a go on it yet, but im close...
