First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

...since we're not going to be able to get this stuff anymore anyway, that seems like an awful lot of product. Has anyone tried that kind of dilution ratio with a conventional wash? I mean I'm guessing if I used 5 times what I normally do in my foam gun with a regular shampoo it might work a lot better than it normally does at getting film off. Yeah, I know the PH is much higher on the Touchless--I'm just wondering if part of the "magic" of this product is using so much. I'm not doubting anybody's results, just sayin'.

It's all about that PIR thing but I think using it in the IK Foam Pro 12 uses less because in the Foam cannon it's almost a 50/50 ratio

I wish I was the advertising guy that came up with that one--"we're not going to have dilution ratios, that's too old school...we're going to have PANEL IMPACT ratios!" However a rose by any other name...is a dilution ratio.

OG will be distributing Bilt Hamber in the near future for the US market.
 
Glad I was able to pick up a gallon of Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam from them yesterday, along with Karrosol AND at a great discount, so I suggest trying to buy some at these great prices. Btw Touchless wasn't listed so it went faster because it's the newest but Auto-foam works just as good IMO

They've mentioned the difficulty of getting it thru customs before, which they mentioned again. They had to place orders months in advance. Really, BH needs to be partnering with someone to blend their products in the US, particularly the 5L stuff, so they don't have to deal with customs and exchange rates.

That's an idea for sure but maybe they wanna ensure QC by being involved directly, nothing left to chance

Nobody does that, who does that? We get tons of detailing products here from Europe and elsewhere, Sonax, Koch Chemie, P21S, CarPro and nobody does that...I could see maybe it being sent here in bulk and bottled here, but I don't see how that really changes the import equation.

I was on the fence since I still have 1.5 bottles but went ahead and made a last minute purchase and based on what y'all are saying, I'm glad I did. I should be good for a year and hopefully another long term supplier pops up.

Touchless is 100% for you. I have a neighbor with a Wrangler that takes it to an off road park nearby. Comes back trashed obviously. I had everything out the one day she was washing and showed her touchless first-hand. She was like wow I almost don't have to wash it now. Yep. It's that good.
